I just want to give a huge and well-deserved shout out to Brianna at the BJ's Wholesale Club store in Waltham. Brianna (forgive me if I spelled your name wrong) went above and beyond by taking a really bad experience with the website ordering process (for in-store pickup) and turning it completely around into a great experience.It's very clear by how she handled the situation that she cares about her customers, which is an unfortunately rare quality in customer service these days. I'm sure it's exemplary service like this which is why she is managing the store. Happy holidays, Brianna! And thank you!

I saw a big rat close to the cosmetics section I informed the staff and they told me that they were aware of it.

Pay attention if you do online in-store pickup orders at this location! Once, I was given K-cups that had expired. More recently, on two separate orders, I was given substitute items that cost less than what I ordered, despite me unchecking the "allow substitutions" box when ordering. I called and spoke to Carlos (who claimed he was a manager.) I asked if he gets this complaint often (since it happened on 2 orders that I placed back to back but months apart) but he averted the question. I said "Even if I had allowed substitutions why wouldn't they at least charge me for the correct item?) I bet if they have to substitute with a more expensive item that they change it to make sure they don't lose money. It is very shady & I didn't like how he gave no explanation nor showed any concern. I will be avoiding this location at all costs if I end up renewing my membership next week. Pay attention & be warned.

In store pickup: Carts are loaded and left in the area in front of the registers. Overall pleased with service and selection of products, especially ginger, guava pastelitos and tubs of hot cocoa. Keep coming back for vegetarian patties, etc. but only 3 stars because:RODENT. I joined this year and shopped in-store only a handful of times. Twice-- I've seen a rodent (large mouse or small rat?) dash under the aisles. Once from the card section, and once underneath one of the side baking area shelves.

The deli is under staffed, I always have to wait, sometime 30 minutes , other customer just gave up and walk away, the worker in deli cuts the meat so thick just to speed up. im not blaming them because customers were waiting, noone was happy , i hope BJ need to get more worker for deli . this is terrible .

very bad service, it's been five days since I went there, with the receipt and the merchandise I bought in my hand, a racist, rude lady didn't let us pass, accusing that we could have caught it, I've never felt so humiliated and until now no one has apologized for what I did happened, I think they will only ask for forgiveness for everything they did to me and my family when I take them to the cote,if you have to go shopping, if you have another option, shop somewhere else or never go to waltham BJ's

We are local to this BJ’s store and do shopping at least once a week and it is hard to keep all the receipt.Today, We went to return two items one had receipt and another didn’t but Avani in the customer service asked us our origin, we thought she was being friendly so we told her where we were from and she discriminated us saying “you all people from xyz…Origin does this kind of thing — buy and return). She even started taking in her own language thinking we should understand it but we couldn’t understand any of her word and had to request her to speak in English language. We felt very discriminated and humiliated in front of few other people behind us. Even after returning home we kept thinking about her word “You People from ….origin” This has made very uncomfortable to visit this store again.I am requesting Store mangers to please explain Avani that this is very unacceptable and should not be treated to any customer in such way.

I don't buy a lot here and don't even need a cart when I go in, but for the few things I do purchase regularly, it makes the membership worth it (i.e. gallon of milk for $2.89). The deal of the century was the queen size Casper mattress I had delivered last year for $300. Yes, $300 to my door and it is amazing. I haven't seen them on the website for a while, so I may have timed that purchase perfectly.In addition to my year of fabulous sleep, I am shouting out a thank you to Shakeh at the service desk: something with my membership was screwed up (nothing that happened in Waltham, it was all the doing of customer service somewhere) and in-store I was listed as having an expired membership, but online it was current. She ended one account for me, activated another and did some other magic with her computer, and now I am all good. Tip: do NOT call the 800 number unless you have at least 20 minutes and a lot of patience (and your problem may still exist afterwards)... go see one of the nice ladies at the desk in Waltham instead!!

First impression with curbside pickup was it took forever (waited 20+ mins) for someone to bring my order out. I finally lost patience and decided to go inside to pick up. My order was just sitting in there, by store pick up. Maybe I selected the wrong option?Curbside pickup parking is to the right of entrance and near a cart return area.In store pickup is inside, past the customer service counter.One customer service member (despite the size of the counter) meant it took 15+ noisy mins to get a new card. Bring ear plugs.Will update after more trips. I’ll be back for Guava pastelitos and frozen mango chunks!
