I trust Accell Automotive for all my car needs and have done so for over 10 years. John and Brian are honest, forthright, trustworthy, congenial and a pleasure to do business with (Kayla as well!). Recently I brought my 2013 Volvo in for a second opinion after the dealer recommended over $1,000 worth of repairs. John checked out my car and said none of the repairs were necessary. Now that's honesty!

Just a fantastic experience at Accel Auto. John was able to check my car in very short notice, identify the repair, explained the issue, then scheduled my service visit. They provide a level of professionalism, expertise and integrity that's second to none. I won't go anywhere else.

As always. Professional, fast, accurate and reliable. They charge only 1/3 of the official dealerships while do the job faster. They do not cross sale all sort of nonsense official dealerships was trying to charge

Accel is terrific. For well over 10 years John at Accel has handled the repairs on all of my cars, ranging from a 2003 Accord with a standard transmission that we've managed to keep running well for 20 years, to much newer family cars that need occasional work. I used to do some work on cars myself. John is very honest, super expert, and does excellent work. On the rare occasions where something hasn't worked out the first time they have cheerfully taken things back and worked for free under the warranty until it was really right. They know everything from the most ordinary, around-town cars to the most obscure Italian sports cars to vintage American land cruisers. (A couple of years ago I saw a Checker cab in for repairs). Very, very highly recommended!

What an excellent place! I am travelling in this area and had a problem with engine oil. After having not so good experience over phone with multiple other centers in Waltham, I spoke to John at Accel Automotive. He was super nice to me, agreed to look at my car the same day. Worked on my car without wait, did a great job and didn't charge me as it didn't take him much time and little engine oil. Can't ask for more. The lady at the counter was very courteous. Seem very genuine people to me if you are looking for a reliable auto service center for good work who wound not over charge you.

This place is fantastic. I've been going there for several years. John is terrific. (women might understand this) He's never made me feel stupid for not knowing all the ins and outs of my car. He also has the patience of a saint. I recently had to bring a car in, and there were kinds of complications with my insurance company. John was calm and patient though all of my phone calls and texts, even while I was freaking out. Cannot possibly say enough good things about this shop.

I had the pleasure of visiting Accel recently for service on my car recently, and I cannot recommend them to enough people! Sometimes hard to find on these places, they (the owner John and the employee Kayla, in this case) were kind and personable. Also, their knowledge and expertise in the field were great, but most importantly they were straight with me. As a woman, it's easy to get "spoken down" to in these types of places, or unknowingly overcharged. Thankfully, my father taught me very well. So, whenever I buy a car or get serviced, I do not express my knowledge; instead, I wait and see what THEY tell ME. It says a LOT about their service and how they value their customers. I want to see what they say if they think I know nothing; I want to know if they'll try to rip me off. I watched my father do this for years, and avoid poor service, and I've done the same; this is how I only get service from the best. And so I did- John was frank about his recommendations and never tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. Additionally, his prices were beyond fair - I definitely saved money by going to them. He actually printed out diagrams of the car parts to walk me through what was wrong and what he would fix; and what I should fix in future (what I DID NOT need to fix that day). This part was especially rare and very special. He also told me about cheaper options I could choose for parts if I was concerned for price, though I decided to go with the top quality. Above all, I appreciated their honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. I will definitely be returning to Accel for any future car needs and highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a trustworthy, skilled mechanic. TEN stars all around!

Love the people at Accel. John is amazing. He's fair and trustworthy. Fair prices. Loaner cars available, so I can get my errands done while my car is being fixed. If they mess up, which is rare, they handle things without additional stress.

I have been a loyal customer of Accel for over 15 years and feel lucky to have found them. They do great work (I have three older cars and they keep them in good shape) and they are honest which is not easy to find. They are also very kind and will go to great lengths to help a customer out. Everyone I have sent to Accel has been thrilled and you will be too if you bring your car to them for service!
