I work as a Corporate Relocation Driver for Wm. Duggan Co., Inc. They have the most well maintained fleet of any Atlas Agent. They work hard to earn the trust of our customers.

Our experience with Wm Duggan Moving Co. Atlas was that it is a very shady operation. Joe claimed "executive premium service" and were priced very expensive accordingly. We thought we were dealing with a very reputable outfit, but not the case. They noticeably damaged (wood chipped out of the front and large scratch around front edge as if it were leaning against something in transport) a special order intricate handpainted desk that is over 20 years old and was kept in a front entry parlor of my home that was rarely used. Their response was that it was a "used" piece and we could put in a claim with the Indiana office or we could take a low, minimal compensation that would not even begin to cover the cost of professional restoration. We did not accept because the offer was so low it was an insult. Arrogant customer service response for what we paid for their service and we were supposed to be insured. Good luck filing a claim with the Indiana office after they had marked their inventory sheet for us to submit as the item was damaged upon packing when it was not after it was wrapped and packed. See Genia C.'s experience. They marked several items on their inventory sheet after it was wrapped and on the truck as damaged from my parlor that were in mint condition. I wouldn't recommend this outfit to my worst enemy. Run don't walk before dealing with this outfit! Head the warning: Damaged items will not be compensated for regardless of the comfy sales pitch Joe gives you up front. Deceptive and just plain false!!!!!

I am so disappointed in Altas moving co and Wm. Duggan Moving Co. Atlas was the third party company that moved us, hired by Wm. Duggan, was not to my standards. They packed many things with care but then some, not at all. I have a 1500$ foot massager that they literally threw in the truck and ruined, broke in half and scratch so badly. Completely broken. No packaging, no box, no care. All of our furniture is without its screws, nuts and bolts! We literally have to research the brand of furniture, find the hardware for it and reorder just to assemble our furniture. I am dissatisfied on these issues but satisfied in general with the service. Your call but some valuable items may get ruined. Just very disappointed. Now we have to file a claim and we know how these go. Easy and fast, right? Of course not. Many hoops to jump through and them not wanting to give money back. Good times! Update: I was denied the claim quite quickly. I was told there was no inventory sheet filled out so I can't file a claim. Wow! Never was I told this! I was reassured that any damaged items would be compensated for. They were very sure about this! But never did they mention am inventory sheet. Seems to me they like to reassure you, make you all comfy, leave out the important part about an inventory sheet, and then when a claim needs to be filed they automatically deny you since you didn't have an inventory sheet that they never mentioned was SO IMPORTANT. My questions are: where is this inventory sheet? Was I supposed to fill it out or are they? Who's accountable for this? Was I supposed to make one and print it out myself? I am now not able to get any response from Wm. Duggan Moving Company. QUESTION FOR WM. DUGGAN MOVING CO.: JOE, the main contact at WM. DUGGAN, why will you not respond now? Why did you REASSURE ME THAT ANY ITEMS DAMAGED WOULD BE EASY TO GET COMPENSATION? I WENT WITH YOUR COMPANY BECAUSE YOU WERE SO REASSURING AND CONFIDENT THAT I WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF! THIS IS SO MISLEADING AND MAKES ME THINK YOU ARE TRYING TO SCAM YOUR CUSTOMERS. I would not feel the need to be so harsh if you would just call back or respond. This post can easily be revised if you show some care for the situation, but you won't. Shame on you for not being professional at the end, when it matters most. So perhaps we will never get out answers since I'm only getting crickets now. MY ADVISE: DON'T USE WM. DUGGAN FOR ANYTHING! Damaged items will not be compensated for!

Our move required extra planning to move from Block Island, RI to PA which involved coordinating transportation with the ferry and storing the furniture on the mainland briefly. The logistics were handled smoothly, and the professional team kept us up-to-date with all aspects of the move. Our items arrived in perfect condition on a super-clean truck, and were moved in carefully with their crew. Very professional moving services with all of the tools and protective equipment necessary to move over-sized items. I have a 600lb concrete kitchen table that I didn't think there was any way they'd be able to move out safely, but the three Duggan Co. movers were able to rig the table and pad it with blankets to safely bring it down a flight of stairs. Very impressive work. Thanks!
