I have had my dog here for longer stays and have never had a problem and feel like he is well cared for. I recently picked him up from a 12 day stay and they bathed and clipped his nails. They are affordable and offer great care when you are away. I always recommend.

My family got our puppy from here and the staff was nothing but helpful and gave us a lot of helpful tips and tools to raise our puppy. We bring her back all the time to get groomed here as well and we are happy with it.

I bought a puppy who has a deformed jaw from this breeder Her tongue is horribly long and she doesn't swallow normally. I was told she would grow into it, that it was temporary. I was charged full price for the puppy although the breeder is skilled at knowing was wrong with the dog. The deformed jaw got worse and will stay as is. I had never purchased a puppy before. I have always adopted unwanted pets. I asked her what she would have done if I hadn't bought the dog. She said "I would have just given her away"! Yet she took my money saying nothing. This woman is rude, stressed, and calls herself an animal lover. Avoid this place whether it's overnight boarding or buying a dog from her. Spend elsewhere.

Have used Northeast Kennels for 10 years and could not be happier. My dogs love them and they genuinely care for animals. The grooming is also excellent and my boys look so fetching in their bandannas!

I would not recommend this kennel to anyone. My dog comes home depressed, fearful, sloppy (appearance). Just picked her up, was told she ate her food that morning but seems impossible because come to find out she has a huge cut which led to an infection on her tongue. Also no cameras. DO NOT GO HERE.

For boarding and grooming our dog , I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Unlike many of the overpriced alternatives, these people know dogs and how to take care if them.

I had a mini schnauzer that I brought here through his 13 years of life. He LOVED coming here and was always super happy when I pulled into their driveway and upon picking him up after his stay. When we entered the lobby, Sparky couldn't wait to go inside and dragged me in. That says something!!! At the vet, the groomer, he would drag me away from the door because he did not want to go in. The people who work here are very nice. Don't be so quick to judge.....everybody has a bad day now and then, but in my experience coming here for over 13 years I am usually met with a smiling face and a friendly greeting. I am now bringing my cockapoo here and he loves it too. I tried the other expensive places that look shiny and clean, but my dogs hated it there! Northeast Kennels must be good if I am willing to drive from Natick to board my dog nearly 30 minutes away from home.

stay away!! this place is disgusting. as soon as you enter the building the stench of urine is overpowering. the women at the desk are beyond rude. all you can hear are dogs barking uncontrollably while you are trying to "check in". we left our dog there for 5 days and when we came to pick him up, he was completely filthy with two large scratches on his face. he was extremely anxious and almost impossible to calm down. saying you get what you pay for is an understatement. you get NOTHING from this place.

I have a dog (Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) mix) who is very nervous and has been a huge concern for us with regards to boarding. Northeast worked with us, had him come in for day visits, and worked one on one with him until he was comfotable to be there. Thanks you so much. We have not been able to go on vacation as a family for a few years becasue of him, so this is a huge relief. If you are looking for a kennel with video feeds of your dog, this is not the place for you. If you want to have your pets in with people that really know how to work with them, and make sure they are cared for, they do that. Our 2 dogs have a shared run inside and out that is just for them. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog tha can not be in a lot of heat, so the shaded runs are appreciated. This is my 3rd set of dogs to come to Northeast (over 20 years) and I like the fact that the same people are still there and remember us.

I worked at Northeast kennels 10 years ago for a summer when I was in high school and I've been bringing my dogs here ever since. Working there gave me a good inside view of the place and I never saw a dog mistreated, so to this day I happily drop my dogs off knowing that everyone who works here is really and truly in it for the animals. Almost everyday, at least one of the staff members would have their own dog behind the desk with them at work, and they always treated the boarding dogs the same as they treat their own. One thing that really stuck with me after working there for that summer was Joe, the owner, taking a sick dog to the vet. The dog was older and on meds for something not contagious (diabetes or epilepsy, I can't remember what exactly). The owner had asked us to keep our eye out for certain symptoms, which the dog did end up displaying. Joe contacted the owner and asked what they wanted him to do. They asked the dog be seen by a vet. Instead of taking the dog to the closest vet, he drove out of his way to take the dog to the dog's regular vet to be seen. That kind of service is hard to find.

Have to agree with Laura B. The level of customer service isn't what they're probably known for. Had an appointment for training and did not get any notice from the trainer that she won't make it. Drove half hour to be told she called out today and if anyone asks she won't be coming in. Not even a simple sorry or apology from the staff about the inconvenience. Oh well. They won't be getting my business or any of my referrals.
