I get there try to order a cheese steak guy can’t even look me in the eye and says I don’t have any of the stuff for that right after he just finished making a sub for another lady didn’t offer to make another sub no apology nothing trash customer service.

Clean, convenient, friendly, and a pretty good value. A nice change of pace compared to some of the other local options.
Huge parking lot, recently paved. Easy access to a close parking spot if you need one.
They have been greatly improving their options over the years: Prime grade beef at the butcher, giant Boars Head deli, hot/prepared foods (check out the pizza, it's legit), decent sushi, organic section etc etc.
They probably should bring back those tags/tickets for the deli line! Chaotic sometimes.

I am an immigrant and have lived in America for 3 years, I have not yet received such bad service as at Big Y in Walpole MA. The employee who works in customer support treated me like dirt, I don't know why, it seemed like pure racism, I hadn't had the displeasure of meeting a White trash, today I did, but luckily in 3 years it was the first horrible experience, does not correspond to the vast majority of American citizens who are extremely educated regardless of their origin.

Always disappointed when I go here. I heard the bakery was good so I went to grab lunch (I work up the street) and got a sandwich, chips and cookies from the bakery. The cookies had dirty paper baked into the middle of them. Good quality control! You charge $6 for these?!
