I wanted to develop a relationship with this dealership...
Payed a $150 diagnostic fee and got a list of recommended service work. One of the items was a wheel alignment, but they said they wouldn't do the alignment with the current tires because they are too worn and need to be replaced (safety reason). I was told that if I choose to do any of the recommended work, the diagnostic fee will be credited towards the repairs. Subaru didn't have the tires I wanted, so I got new tires from somewhere else, and did the alignment at Subaru of Wakefield. When I came to pick up the car, I reminded them that I had the credit from the diagnosis, but that's when the conversation changed. The person helping me said they wouldn't accept it, because I got the tires somewhere else. I don't understand how they came up with the policy that of all the recommended service work, the alignment is only eligible for credit if I get one of the three tire options they offer. He then refuted my argument with things ranging from "the technician will not be payed for their work then" to "if you had told me about the credit when you just came in, we could have made it work".
I am not blaming the folks working in the Service department for this incident, who generally do a great job. I am blaming the leadership of Subaru of Wakefield. If you are trying to build a reputation and good relationships with your clients, you should have very clear policies that would prevent disputes/misunderstandings like this from arising in the first place.

Been a car owner for over 60 years. Chris (Subaru Wakefield) these last few years has proven himself to me to be the best service experience I've had in all those years. He listens well, explains issues clearly so we can understand, and always has a pleasant demeanor.
Next car...going to be a Subaru, Chris sealed the deal.

The only experience I had in this life with Subaru of Wakefield is with a service technician named Pat he's been and has went above and beyond about everything in his power he deserves everything that happens to him good and more there's no other person Id deal with besides him in that company PAT you're the man God bless bro

I have always gone to Subaru of Wakefield for my service needs since buying met car 2 years ago from them. I have always had great experiences but this last one did not meet my expectations. I went for an oil change and state inspection and had an 8:30 am appointment that was booked with the option to wait. I got there checked in and was told it would be an hour to an hour and 15. This was expected and I had no problem waiting. 10:30 came around and I had no update regarding my car so I got up to inquire and service adviser let me know it’s would be another 10 minutes as it was still in the state inspection bay but everything checked out great. I finally left the dealership at 10:45 way over the hour to an hour and 15 minute estimate. Then as I’m on my way home I look in my passenger seat and see the cover for my cabin air filter sitting on the floor. This did not impress me as they had my car for 2 plus hours and it made me question if the rest of the service was performed correctly. I did call back and informed the service department of this and I was told I could come back and they would gladly put the cover on for me as I was already on my way home let them know I could take care of it myself. The lady of the phone assured me I could come back and they would take care of it while I was not asking for anything an apology would have been nice and it left a sour taste in my mouth.

Christopher Called me personally to review what needed to be on my car and it was taken care of correctly inappropriately. I am always very satisfied with Subaru Wakefield service department.

Subaru of Wakefield is the only place I take my car for service. Professional service and nice waiting area. I was able to work remotely while my car service was completed. Perfect!.
