The owner Lynn is beyond rude. I went one day to walk in and inquire about my hair. As I was walking in I watched the owner walk out and start yelling at someone for dropping their child off at dance class. The mom was apologetic but she just kept going. Yelling and yelling. She was rude. Unprofessional. Honestly it was awful.. To think you can treat people that way.. I asked someone who she was? And they stated the owner of the salon....I got in my car and left. I drove 2 minutes up the street to primp...

The owner, Lynn, is completely unhinged! I parked in front of her Salon for my 2yo's first day of dance class next door at 8am on Sat. When I came out of class at 8:45, Lynn was very rude about me parking in front of her Salon, which opens at 9am. I apologized and told her it was our first class and the salon looked closed when I parked, so I didn't realize. She called me ignorant for thinking it was OK to do that. When I told her I'll remember that when talking about her salon, she flipped me off in front of my daughter and walked around my car to write down my license plate. There's a Yelp review from a client saying the owner yelled at her in front of the entire salon and threatened to throw her out - which sounds right considering the unstable behavior Lynn displayed with me and my 2yo. I would avoid this Salon!

Maxine is a total hair wizard. Today I spent almost 7 hours in her chair going from dark brown to my dream shade of pink. When the results were not initially what we had hoped, she was happy to work with me to push my hair to this beautiful, soft masterpiece. I cannot recommend this salon, or Maxine, enough.

I can't say enough about this salon and the girls that work there. I have been going there for over 10 years and have observed them be experts in the business while maintaining lovely relationships with their clients and to each other. It's a beautiful thing. My hairdresser is Claire Gentry. She is a color artist and an expert hair cutter bar none. She wont disappoint!

I LOOOOVVVVVEEEE MAXINE! I've been going to Maxine for about a year and a half, and she's the BEST hairstylist I've ever been to. She is very professional, always aims to get your hair exactly as you want it, and is flexible if you want to change your mind. I've gotten full color, highlights, and my hair cut, and there is nothing she can't do. The atmosphere is always friendly and you can tell the staff gets along great. I won't go anywhere else!

Went here to see Maxine for a wash cut and highlight she was nice and all but when she washed my hair she was sooooo rough I mean scratched the heck out of my scalp so rough ! I needed motrin when I left. Over $100 dollars the highlight was so subtle not what I wanted. There are a bunch of woman other workers sitting around gossiping too . Not a good look. Never again

I have been coming to Salon Monet for a few years now because I work right next door and my house is up the street, so I go to Maxine now since she started my hair is done really nice I have long hair get two inches off the ends and my bangs done just the way I like it, Maxine puts in some cool stuff in my hair to hold my curls in it feels soft and fluffy when she finishes. So handy to have a hair salon so close to where I work and live can schedule my appointments at one pm when I finish work. Thanks Maxine for a wonderful haircut and stuff u use to hold my curls in, don't need a perm anymore. If Maxine is unavailable Lynn or Claire will cut my hair the same way. Thanks again see you all soon

DO NOT GO HERE. Owner screamed at me and though Maxine is very sweet, my hair wound up much too short from her having to re-cut to make the ends even and my (naturally brown) blonde streaky hair was dyed ashy gray with orange tiger-stripes at the root where bleach wasn't left on long enough. Came because I had a Groupon but made a huge mistake. I had to go back to fix the disastrous color and Lynn (owner) SHRIEKED at me in front of the entire salon, "You're lucky I don't throw you out of here with color in your hair! We'll rinse it out for you, but we're not blowing it dry and you're leaving!". If the mistakes they made, make me a "difficult customer", as Lynn also yelled at me, then so be it. She and Maxine could not figure out how to fix my color. I was traumatized and in shock at how I was treated. I cannot even believe the experience I had. Had to go back to my usual salon for a quick fix.

I just had the best haircut and color I have ever had! Claire is amazing and did a super job with highlighting my hair and styling!! I will trust Claire with my hair from now on!!! And Emily does a fantastic job washing and massaging your scalp. Definitely will be back, worth the trip!! Thank you Claire!
