“Moving to Lynn meant we needed to find an auto repair shop we could trust. We shopped around and finally found Larson's. This is a woman owned and run business that is thorough, organized and affordable. Their goal is to make sure you receive the service you need to keep your car in top notch condition.
I brought my Honda here last week. After they did their review of the car, they recommended a few items that needed to be done. I agreed to have them do the work which included some outsourcing of part of the exhaust system.
The repairs were done on time and for the price quoted.
Driving home I got a warning light, so I called and they said bring it back tomorrow. I did and they determined two items needed to be fixed which may have been related to the repairs or maybe not.
Diane, the owner said that they were covering the cost to repair as it was possibly related to the other work done! I was so happy she did this and I was so astounded I don't think I thanked her enough. If you need your car serviced do not hesitate to use Larsons's. They have me as a customer for life after the way they treated me.”
“I have never received such quality customer service related to my car. I called them in a panic as the day prior I had my tires rotated at a dealership, where the technician at that dealership forgot to tighten the nuts that connected my tire to my vehicle. They took me immediately, despite it being 1.5 hours before they closed on a holiday weekend. They assured me that if they couldn't look at my car today they would give me a loner vehicle for free so I could continue to work. after returning at 20 minutes to close, my car was inspected for further issues, a video taken of the problem so I could go back to the dealership, and they had decided not to charge me for the mechanic's time. I believe this is one of the last honest mechanic shops around, and I will use them for all future services.”
“We are so lucky to have Phil and Josh down the street. For many years we have been very fortunate recipients of their skills and kindness. They are always able to schedule a repair or service in a reasonable time. Often in the middle of a repair on the lift they will stop check/fix a tire, listen to a worrisome sound or assess some other issue. Whenever car stuff comes up with neighbors and friends it’s always ,“ Oh yeah, we go to Phil and Josh!!!”, followed by knowing smiles and hearty appreciation. These guys are the best.”
“I am so glad I found this place. I don’t like going to the large dealerships to get maintenance on my car so I called Hometown auto and had a great experience. They were very respectful. The job was done quickly and it was nowhere near the price I had been paying at other places. In addition I had, experienced driving through floodwater about two months ago and called them to find out if my car should be seen for possible damage. They were again so helpful, understanding and offered for me to come by the next day so they could check my car out. I highly recommend Hometown Auto! I will be back.”

I explained the issue and was able to get everything done within 30-45 minutes. They are 2 brothers that own the shop and hands down they have become my new mechanics, they explained everything to me in ways I can understand.”

While there, I noticed their awesome and competitive pricing for an oil changes, and that they offer a service to check your breaks for free.
I took advantage of the excellent value for these services as well.
The owner is kind, friendly, and more than reasonable. As a woman, I have been ripped off going to other mechanics.

I want to say five minutes, but it was closer to 10 but for an oil change, this is ridiculously quick. They checked all the fluids with a smile in and out for about 40 $45. WOW ?”

I true gentleman who looks to help you and get you back on the road.I have had two instances where I brought my vehicle in (2010 Honda Ridgeline) for a quick fix and both times were a surprise!The first, he told me that he just needed to adjust something by my tie-rod, which was no charge. The second time, he did my front brakes which cost far under what I was quoted at two other places.I have brought my kids cars in for oil changes and the service and timing has been perfect each and every time!Definitely a 5-star!One more thing: please be sure to call before you drop your car so that Bob is able to get to it that same day! There is a key drop, if needed, as well!”

“I would give Lou and Brian 10 stars if I could. I needed new brakes and was heading out of state. Even though they were closing early they squeezed me in. Their prices are fair and they stand behind their work. I knew I needed to replace the rotors, but they still showed me my old rotors. My front brakes were good but there was still grinding so they cleaned the calipers and whatever else had build up. They could have easily told me I needed new front brakes as well but they have integrity and are honest. Loving my smooth and quiet ride!

“First time I went there was for a transmission problem. Turned out to be a loose line. Could have charged for a new transmission but did not. That was 30 years ago and have been going back ever since. Only ones I let work on my or my family’s cars. Honest as can be.”
