“If I could rate James more than 5 stars, I would! I ordered the P town ornament a couple of days before Christmas, and James was so kind to mail it out quickly. It actually arrived BEFORE Christmas, but he sent a thoughtful email to let me know the shipping status and that it may not. Not only was his timeliness so appreciative, but the ornament itself is stunning & beautiful, and everything I love about P town at Christmas with the lights on the monument. I will definitely be ordering from James again! Thank you!!!”
“A large art gallery in “downtown “ Wellfleet. They have a selection of artists from across the United States. Paintings, clocks, pottery, jewelry, and lots more.Definitely worth a stop and look.”
“The Cardinals are amazing artists and great people. Highly recommend this gallery for anyone interested in purchasing a great piece of timeless artwork that you will love forever.”
“The Schoolhouse Gallery is THE gallery to visit when you're in Provincetown. I recommend coming in to say hi to Mike. When I dropped by in August they were showcasing work by the artist Francis Olschafskie. We got a chance to meet with the artist and admire his work. You will also learn a lot about the artists and the inspiration behind each piece if you ask. I always enjoy coming to the Schoolhouse Gallery because there's always something new and exciting to see.”
“Cove gallery is the best. I have been visiting for years and the owners Liane and Larry are always so knowledgeable and helpful. The artists they represent all have beautiful work, but my favorite is the (late) Judith Shahn collection.”
“This is one of my favorite stores in town. The owners is so friendly and knowledgeable and uses local artists. Definitely a destination for that perfect keepsake!!”

373 Commercial St #2316, Provincetown“Several years ago, when on holiday on Cape Cod, we purchased from the Bowersock Gallery in Provincetown, a painting by the artist Alan Ammann. The successful purchase and delivery (to our home in the UK) led us to repeat this process in September last year when we bought, from Bowersock, a large, model ship, constructed in clay that was, consequently, divided into four separate packages to distribute the weight for transportation.Unfortunately, two of the packages failed to pass through British customs and were eventually returned to the United States; one, subsequently, declared to be beyond economic repair (possibly caused during storage in the customs depot). Since that time we have maintained a constant liaison with the Bowersock Gallery, initially to try to recover or recreate the model ship, but eventually, to secure a full refund. From Steve Bowersock’s unfailing patience, professionalism and personal effort, we have now received full financial recompense for this unfortunate loss.We have made definite plans to return to Cape Cod in September and will revisit Steve Bowersock not only to thank him and his team personally for their splendid aftersales service but also to try to buy, with confidence, another unique artwork from the Bowersock stable (in our view, some of the best artworks, at realistic prices, on Cape Cod).In consequence of the technical difficulties created by the international element of our endeavours to secure a refund, another gallery might not have given us the empathy and support that we received from Steve Bowersock. From our experience, we acknowledge Steve Bowersock to be not just a skilled dealer in modern artworks but, perhaps more importantly, a gentleman. Thanks, Steve and your team.”
“I'm at the gallery every weekend. It contains Provincetown's artists history, including Hawthorne, Hofmann, Avery, deGroot, and contemporary artists, Mary Walker, TJ Walton, George Lynde, Michael Stewart, Peter Cameron, and several more. come in and be absorbed by this unique collection.”

“Beautiful gallery with some really unique pieces across a spectrum of subjects, visuals and locations. I've found some of my favorite artists at Rice Polak and the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful with no pressure to buy as they have a true and deep appreciation for the art and want all to enjoy it. One of the best galleries in Ptown and worth a visit.”

460 Commercial St, Provincetown“Currently showing the work of Sam Feinstein: The Radiance of Colour. This exhibit is a holy WOW. I have had a few transcendent
experiences through paintings in my life: Velazquez at the National Gallery in London on a Saturday evening with the gallery all to myself; Matisse at the Tate Modern where I was so uplifted I walked back to Marylebone in utter wonder; Picasso's huge studies of Velazquez' Las Meninas; and now these extraordinary living, breathing paintings of Feinstein's...my head, my heart, my spirit - refreshed, renewed, inspired.
Oh - and there is a wonderful exhibit of photographic portraits of local artists taken over the last few years = it's terrific.”
“Julie and GailI cannot be more thrilled to have one of your beautiful photographs of Provincetown hanging on my wall. It looks fantastic! I will cherish it for years to come. Thanks again.”

237 Commercial St #3, Provincetown“It’s a very small and intimate venue. I love the experience of watching a movie here because you can get yourself some wine and gummy bears and cuddle up in a chair and get lost in a movie. Feels like a great oasis when you need to get away from the hectic Provincetown summer.”
“When we arrived in Truro for our vacation, we looked through a flier for the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill and realized that they had scheduled some fantastic events that we could sign up for on their website. In addition to events they have all kinds of classes as well as yoga sessions available. This evening we went to a fascinating lecture presented by Mark Bittman and Doc Willoughby. Doc Willougby , who is also a good writer, interviewed Mark Bittman about his new book: Animal, Vegetable,Junk: A History of Food from Sustainable to Suicidal. The Truro Center sent us emails urging people to carpool since they were expecting a huge crowd snd Prior to the event, had the opportunity to speak with Susan Kai Schwartz , the Program Manager, who assured me that if I arrived thirty minutes early, I'd be able to find parking. When we arrived, the first person we met was Bruce Player, the Program Coordinator. Bruce greeted us like we were old friends, even though we had never met! He urged us to take our lawn chairs and find a good place to sit for the lecture and when I asked, don't you want to see my ticket?, Bruce assured me he'd find us but was more interested in our comfort. My wife and I were impressed with everything we experienced at the center. They served refreshments that were reasonably priced and while I had promised myself I wouldn't buy another book, Mark Bittman's talk was so stimulating and delightful, I felt we needed to read it immediately! The other wonderful aspect of the evening is that we didn't get one mosquito bite! They had a special machine that kept the mosquitoes away. The center also had beautiful restrooms inside their buildings. I strongly urge you to check out their website and make and plan to visit the Truro Center for the Arts when you are vacationing on the Cape.”
