I went to this dealership over Labor day weekend to buy a used truck. Found one I really liked and we went to talk numbers. They rejected my initial offer, which is fine but in the end they let me walk out over $567.
I was pre-approved with an outside finance company and the dealership really wanted me to finance with them. When I made my offer, taking $567 off the total, they said they would only do it if I financed through them. The interest rate through them was 1.5% higher than what I was pre-approved for.
I believe they overpaid for the truck, and in order to make more profit, they wanted me to finance with them, at a higher rate, so they could profit more. Which is really scummy.
Recommend that if you go here go with a pre-approved loan from an outside finance company. When you talk numbers, make sure you understand what the offer is and watch for scummy tricks.

My car has been seating at their lot for 2 weeks now and they still dont have a real diagnosis. they told me I needed new rims and tire but then told me they don't know what is wrong with it. Car experts that don't know what is happening to my car after 2 weeks of it being at their shop? sounds kinda shaddy.

I was quite pleased to get my truck back a day early, they needed to order a part to complete the work and got it the same day, so instead of waiting until Monday, they got it back to me on Friday, Thanks for going the extra mile!

Townsend Ford is the best! Our neighbor recommended them when we moved to town and I’m so glad they did, every aspect has been outstanding, they keep you informed during the repair, my Explorer has been fixed quickly and more importantly, fixed correctly.
