“I went in for a passport photo after phoning to see if an appointment was needed (it wasn’t for a Tuesday or wednesday) No one in lobby or behind the counter. A quick press of a bell summoned Melissa, the most cheerful, helpful, and efficient customer service person I had dealt with in years. She was a wealth of information on the process, and after taking the photo, she showed it to me for my approval. Wow ?. “Nick was an extremely helpful person at the service desk. He was polite, quick, efficient and had an excellent customer service attitude. That was surprising to me because he told me he had to be on his feet virtually the whole day. I guess that puts an end to My idea of working for the post office unless I can get a part-time job!By the way if, somebody helps you at any kind of business or service and has a really good attitude, make a point of telling them so. I know from decades as a business owner that finding people with a good customer service attitude is harder than people think. so the next time somebody does the good job make sure to tell them so, because I assure you hear a lot more negative comments than positive ones! “I recently had a package that was sent to me get inadvertently misdelivered to the wrong address. I called the local office in Groton and spoke with one of the team members there who was very helpful, offering to check the details on where the package was dropped and call me back. I got a call back a couple hours later and they had found where it got dropped off - the package was at my house another hour later. Great service!”
