Extremely friendly service. As a runner very important to get the right running shoe. Mat was filled with knowledge and helped me understand the fit and the benefits of the running shoe I chose which was the Hoka.Plenty of parking you definitely need to take the trip into Townsend to Evans on the Common you will be completely satisfied.

Great store with a good variety of clothes, shoes gift ideas and holiday shopping for nice and crafty nick knacks. A fun place, outdoor stuff as well along with clearance items upstairs. Shopping here is good but make holiday shopping even more fun in this nice store. To be noted, the staff is friendly and always eager to help. Certainly worth the stop, enjoy.

Update: I spoke with Noelle and she was very helpful and understanding. She recommended some other brands that might be a better fit for our workwear use case and Evans will be replacing the Pendletons. I also learned they're able to repair shoes they sell there, which is really helpful should I run into wear and tear issues at any point.Orignal review: Bought expensive Pendleton boots there and they started leaking after not much use (18 months of ownership, and they're not our primary farm boots). Evans had little interest in helping, telling us to go talk to Pendleton. I guess we're back to buying cheap boots since the expensive ones are just as cheaply made and Evans doesn't stand behind its sales. Very nice sales people and very helpful when selling you things, though.

Evans has th best selection of shoes in the area _ hands down. They have a wide variety of brands _ including many from Germany, Italy, etc. They also have a fabulous selection of cowboy boots - Ariat, Abilene, Bogs, etc.I also love their selection of mittens, hats, and gloves!They have a decent women's clothing section as well as Men's _ and very limited baby section.There are two floors upstairs they move camping/hiking gear but also their clearance shows (which is my favorite place to start). Downstairs is women's, mens, baby, retail shoes, etc.Staff is always amazingly helpful!

Great selection of shoes, especially for Zero-drop and wide-foot selections. Staff are super helpful and knowledgeable about fitting and won't lead you astray.

Great selection of high quality brands in the sale sections outside and upstairs. I got Muck Boots, Chacos, corduroy pants, and wool hiking socks for under $100 all together. They also had a great selection of Keens, Patagonia, and high quality flannels for discounted prices. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who likes the VT/REI aesthetic.

Larger than it looks on the outside. Absolute treasure trove of top-quality outdoor clothing, shoes, gifts, kids stuff, gourmet food/accessories and decor, jewelry. Think high-end Vermont outfitter. Just amazing!
