The pool was the filthiest thing I've ever seen! The hot tub was broken and the place was just so disgusting!!!!!!!!! I will never return. I met a few ladies who are members of the health club who said this is how it always is but no one listens.

Great location! Very short walk from the Vineyard Haven ferry. Hotel staff was very courteous. Hotel and rooms were very clean and well maintained. The front of house staff was very knowledgeable about all things from restaurants, shopping, transportation, and entertainment. If you are lucky enough to drive on to the island, the hotel has their own parking lot. They have a typical continental breakfast. The nightly rate is at the higher end of the average price for hotels on the island, but the Mansion House hotel is well worth it when you are comparing relative rates. There is also a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel if you need a late night beverage or if the weather gets nautical. We will definitely stay at the Mansion House again.

Amazing service...Booked a four-night stay for an annual getaway.Dillon and Emma are the best at making sure my vacay is more than perfect.I get to keep my puppy with me and explore the island. Can't wait to rebook!

We had an amazing stay at the Mansion House Inn in August 2023 for the Beach Road Weekend festival. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was very kind and helpful. Everything in Vineyard Haven was very walkable, and the bus stop to other parts of the island was very close. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Had an amazing stay at the Mansion House. Room was well appointed and super clean. The staff was outstanding and helpful with recommendations on places to eat. Looking forward to my next visit. Great location with plenty of eating, shopping and attractions.

I use the gym here. Staff is amazing and the health club has a great variety of equipment. Classes included in your membership and access to the pool, hot tub, and sauna are great! Highly recommend.

I pay $900 for room that we can’t sleep in because it 85° and the AC doesn’t work or they will not turn it on. My wife and I both told them. They did nothing but told was if move around and the eco thermostat will start working after 20 minutes. How do you move around when laying in bed. So stupid!Total waste of my money.

Love this place! The rooms are very unique and spacious. Very clean and great service. Great location. Even in the summer months not as jammed packed as other are on the island.

I loved my experience at this spa! I called and because they were servicing other clients I had to call and leave a voicemail but they called back within 10 mins or so and it was very easy to get an appointment next day. My masseuse was named Lorraine and she was so good last year when we visited the island that I requested her again. I've had plenty of massages and none of them compare. I've talked about my massage from last year ALL YEAR LONG and imagine my excitement to know that after a years time she was back for the summer. I felt renewed and I can't say enough about her professionalism and expertise. You will not regret your massage here because you can tell the staff is passionate about what they do. Easily the best massage I've ever had. I'll add that my sister also came with me last year and this year and she had an amazing experience as well. We will keep coming back for sure.

Make sure if you're not an American (or just anyone really) that you call to confirm your booking! My fiance booked a suite for us at Mansion House for Memorial Day weekend, but when we got on the island at around 5PM or so we went to the front desk and they said our booking was cancelled by the manager and they gave away our room. The claim was we received a call(s) and/or an e-mail saying that his out of country card was declined and that just wasn't true. We spent an hour checking phone records and digging through our e-mails and didn't find a single one from the hotel. We didn't even find a declined e-mail or text from his bank or an automated cancellation e-mail from their website. What made it even more frustrating was we were tired after driving for 5 hours and I'm pregnant - they had 0 rooms left which you would think they'd just downgrade us to a smaller room if they were scared they'd not get paid for a suite, but the lady at the front desk said "they're very popular" so I don't see how they would've had a problem re-booking if they lost one night even if we didn't show up. They pointed us to a dingy motel looking space a block away which one look we said absolutely not.We ended up quickly poking around Google last minute hoping any inn on the island would have space for us and ended up staying in a super a cute inn at downtown Oak Bluffs with a car rental across the street. The guy on the phone was really accommodating and after we explained that Mansion House just cancelled our reservation with no warning he put their last room with a queen size bed on hold for us. Oak Bluffs is a better location anyways since it's in the middle of all the action - I would not book Mansion House EVER again just from that experience, even if it was the last inn with space on the island; I'd rather rent a house.

PESTS AND LIES. Our room was the home of diverse bugs and pests. The air conditioning was very poor (80f overnight). The two managers proved to work as a totally untrustworthy pair, promising us a small refund that did not even happen. They have been wasting our time since we reported the issue and they are easily finding series of excuses to not be the professionals they claim to be.Rooms: Pests everywhere, we found a whole ecosystem in our room including an ant colony, spiders, flies and mosquitoes, spider webs. The shower faucet was broken. The air conditioning is horrible and temperatures was about 80f middle of the nightNoteworthy details: The managers are deceptive and use deceptive methods. There is no pest control, we were moved to another room and the room full of bugs was directly given to another customer within 1 hour.

Quaint inn. Older building. Nice spa. Would not recommend staying during the hotter months due to poor air conditioning.

Stayed 2 nights Memorial Day Weekend. Great choice on Main Street with lots of shopping ? right outside your front door. Cupola Deck is great for a wonderful view and just relaxing. It was booked full for holiday weekend but still seemed very uncrowded. Coffee available in breakfast area all day but doesn’t open until 6:30 or 7am. Copper Wok restaurant on site and it was great. Good food and met a few locals. We were very pleased with staying here. Oak Bluffs was super crowded but it was very peaceful here.

I really enjoyed my stay during Memorial Weekend. The service was great! Just wanted to give a special “thank you” to Lisa. She went out of her way during our time here and was very welcoming. Thank you Lisa!!!
