Ordered meat, no where does it say it's frozen. Meats are not high quality and not what we was advertised or what we received. Tried calling customer service today and had to leave a message. Waiting for return call. Will cancel with and dispute charges with my cc company. One and done. Deceptive imo. ✌

You can sign up easily enough online, but when it's time to cancel they make you talk to someone who will try and persuade you not to. Very poor behavior. Not the kind of company I want to deal with, would not recommend.
The actual meat is quite good.

Suggest reading before signing up for the meat share.I have been getting shares for 6 months. I love the concept of supporting local farmers and sustainably raised animals. However, this is not worth it.I just paid close to $500 for a majority sausage, ground beef/pork, and a slew of cheap beef cuts (London broil, shoulder steak, top sirloin).As a share member, I believe you are subsidizing their brick and mortar butcher shop by buying the undesirable cuts.All the cuts mentioned above require slow cooking methods. So between thawing the meat, potentially dry-brining, and then an hours long cook, meals must be thought out days in advance.Thawing in water speeds up the process but their vacuum bags are not leak tight so you end up water logging your meat. This leaking can be seen by sometimes pinkish liquid on a cut left to thaw on plate in the fridge. In a bowl of water, with the slight pressure inwards, the water definitely makes it through the vac-seal, to some extent, based on what I’ve seen.To their credit, they have been good about share delivery and did add a couple NY strips after writing them about what I’ve said above but it returned to same the following share.Overall the meat share is not worth it.

Terrible terrible terrible where do I start the Driver was in a Rush I yelled to come back she Drove like 100 Mph the Eggs Came Cracked the Meat smelled old the meat in the Pictures don’t match the quality that they show I don’t even want a credit I’m Done looking for better Somewhere else. They are scamming people from their hard earned money.

They're timely with deliveries but after a special holiday package that was under weight and value, I decided to cancel my membership. They offered to give a partial refund which I appreciated until it never processed due to an internal communication issue on their part.

I had a meat share for about 3 yrs now best thing I've ever done. Meat top quality and delivery drivers are friendly and always handle your share with care if I could give 10 stars I would!!!!

While I was inside, someone in a Walden Meat car was parked outside of my house. It appeared they were trying to steal or, at the very least, scope out our free range chickens? Thankfully our mail carrier confronted them before anything happened. This occurrence was very bizarre, but I would absolutely not trust this company.
