I just walked into the store and I was going to buy some scratch tickets and mega millions but the person that waited on me looked miserable and didn’t even want to smile when I greeted him. I guess you don’t need to have good customer service when you have a commodity that everybody wants anyway

I visit Smitty's often. The proprietor is quiet but professional, I have respect for that. There is enough parking at the side and rear, and plenty of selections to be made.

Very nice go to place when you need a quick pick up. Prices are higher than the bigger stores but I guess it's the convenience you pay for. Great selections though.

Looks like it has been awhile since anyone wrote a review. As previously mentioned, Smitty's is small compared to some of the larger stores within a few miles north or south on Rte 38. However Smitty's seems to have what you need. All the basics are covered (usual beers, wines, spirits. etc). However they do have a decent assortment of IPAs and other craft beers. They also have a small, but decent selection of quality whiskeys. This is not the place to go if you are searching for something unique. But for quick in/out along with helpful service if needed - this store is just right.
