Shop local, Aubuchon Tewksbury is my go to for everything from paint to propane. Always well stocked and the knowledgeable staff is big plus over the big boxes.

I’ve been a customer here for over 25 yrs. The old store and the new. I purposely go here to support the small business. I just walked in and asked if the kid at the counter where I would find an ice maker kit for a fridge.he was on his phone. He immediately said we don’t have them. That’s not a problem, asked where hose and fittings would be. Told me what isle it was in. Had to find cutters and cut length myself. I could not find ferrets. Walked up to counter. Asked, told me same isle on left. Again looked could not find. Walked back to counter and he was gone. This is why small hardware stores don’t succeed. I get same treatment at big box stores and a lot cheaper. That’s where I am now getting supplies. DO BETTER. People support you but it only goes so far. FYI, this is the first review I have ever filled out but I am fuming. I have 20k worth damage at my house and this is what I dealt with while trying to repair the problem.

My review is strictly for propane only. Auchuban has now resorted to filling only half the propane grill tanks! So for four cookouts, I have to pay $20. Whereas before, I could make a tank last for almost half, sometimes the entire summer. Please do not buy your propane here. It's just way too expensive, especially since you're getting half a tank for 20 bucks!

Very disappointed
I use them for online in store pick up orders all the time, today I did a curbside pick up because I was picking up five bags of mulch and a 50 pound bag of play sand. Checked in and pulled up to curbside pick up. I was notified that a team member had been notified and would be out shortly. When no one came out, I went inside and found Two young men at the checkout sitting and not busy at all, no one in line. Gave them my name and told them I was picking up a curbside order. They told me everything was on pallets outside and I had to go find them myself. Neither of them came to help me load.
my 11-year-old daughter had to help me load. Not impressed with customer service.
Next time I’ll go back to O’Connor in Billerica, they always load customers cars politely and efficiently.

My order was completed quickly and accurately. When I arrived to the store the ordered bags "waited for me" directly at the shop entrance. This purchase and order pick-up was pleasant and easy.

Never bought anything from Aubuchon hardware, but was surprised when they were the best priced option on a Google search for 100 gallon Rubbermaid tub. They also gave me 10% off for signing up for marketing emails, which brought the price down even more compared to Home Depot and other competitors. Service at pick up was also very good and very smooth. Going to be using this tub for ice plunges ???
