I always schedule my appointment online at the Bay Street Taunton MA location. If there is a wait it's not long. Adam helped me the past two times and was great.

There should b a receptionist 2 help. It looks like it's abandoned. You walk in & there's a kiosk and chairs. Very unfriendly & unwelcoming especially 4 older clients. I personally don't care as I know what 2 expect. Service is great

There is no live person, .. workers are behind closed locked door, & do not even have the half part of door ajar, as you sit & wait & can hear workers chit chatting away, but do not check on the actual people in waiting room. They call patients in abruptly, give them about 3 seconds to show they are there & then slam door again, so you only have the kiosk, they don't take patients by order of appointments/walk ins, waiting area is extremely small & people are sitting on the ground or standing in hallway, along with elderly sitting for very long uncomfortable periods of time, there is only 1 lab technician doing both registration & orders, on most times vs. The amount of patients waiting, & the reasonable expectation period of waiting goes beyond their closing time so patients have to come back all over again the next day or after very long waits walk out.
Since this location moved the lab to "improve" & have a more full service care center, it has been long long waiting periods & non-improvement & dissatisfaction of patients exceptions for a overall health care setting. Especially when it comes to the lab, actually doing blood draws & urine cultures.
I would recommend going to a better well organized quest lab, that has patient care & results being delivered quickly in mind until they improve this particular location which has been ongoing for months.

Can't talk to anyone. Even when you call. The worst lab I ever been to. Check in with machine no one to tell what's up. I need appointment. Had compass. Never ever had a problem. I am over due for lab work need every 3 months. My doc sent electronic. Sad sad. Miss compass.

The woman running this circus apparently couldn’t figure out how to read a sign in schedule. Genuinely shocked by the staggering level of ineptitude.

According to their Android app they screwed up my blood samples. There was a note on my account from them. I thought no problem I'll just go back. I No big deal, right? So I went back a week later to have them take samples again. They are suppose to close at 4. I went in at 3:20 and nobody was there. Next day I went in at 3:00. Nobody was there. Obviously the one employee at this location is a complete screw up. Using the wrong vials and then closing early on regular basis. So I went to a different Quest location. They wouldn't discuss retaking my lab results or my bill because I didn't have more paperwork from my Doctor. I'm convinced nobody has a clue what they are doing at these locations and the people who manage them are equally incompetent. Seriously, what kind of lab won't retake samples that they openly admitted were put in the wrong tubes without another doctor request? As a separate issue, while searching for this place you should note that it is located in the basement of the Northwoods Medical Center. Which is ok. But it wasn't easy to find as there is no sign out front indicating Quest Diagnostics is even in the building.
