So I had some lottery scratchers sitting in my car that I got for the holiday. I don't get scratch tickets much or at all. Most are gifted to me. So I decided to cash in for the small amount I won. Figured it's gas money why not? Well it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. From being asked several times "this isn't big winnings right" to not scratching the right area to be cashed out correctly and being told now they have to manually enter the number while mumbling what I can only assume were insults towards me. And then being shown the long number they have to manually type in. To finally being told what I'm getting back and given an attitude because I wanted the cash and didn't want to buy more tickets. I apologized for the one ticket not being scannable. It wasn't my intention to upset anyone. Is this normal at this store? Because I don't think I will be going back.

Went there Sunday morning and had an older lady (white/grey hair) card me for a single bag of ice. Not to mention she acted quite rude. She stated there’s lots of stolen cards and the business loses money when that happens. Well being a business owner and accounting/finance major I can tell you she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. My wife has had issues with her in the past as well unfortunately.Information/advice for the clerk:First don’t be so rude because you now have lost most of our business. Second here’s something to help clear up your misunderstanding in the future (a quick google can answer a lot of you didn’t know :/ ):“The bank is more likely to be liable for the fraud for card-present transactions, while the merchant might get stuck with the cost for transactions without a physical card.” The rules on liability are dictated by the credit card network the transaction used, such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover.

I live down the street and go here all the time. The people leaving poor reviews sound either racist or they're just shitty people. Everyone working there has been nice and I've never seen anyone have a problem. They have a decent enough selection even though the prices are a little high, but that's what I would expect from a small shop like Andy's. They also sell worms for bait during fishing season so all the more reason to stop by if your thinking of heading out on Sabbatia Lake!

I can't figure out if they close early some nights or not, so bet to get there before 9pm.Decent (altho small) craft beer selection, they have plenty of options for a hop head. The whiskey section is kind of impressive, in contrast to the rest of the place.

This is a whiskey lover's paradise. The prices are a bit high but they have bottles you'll struggle to find elsewhere. The employees are helpful (and skilled at the upsale game lol).

I went to this store, Andys Market in Taunton. I had not been there in a couple years. Apparently it was sold and now owned by Bharat Patel and managed with his wife Rekha Patel. The place used to have a great selection of Whiskey until the old owner took all the best items and started moving them to a new store he bought. The store now with the new owners is full of crappy overpriced whiskey. When I went in I was looking for a specific Apple Cider called "Down East" that I liked but they didn't have it. I looked around a bit and Rekha (the new owners wife). Started following me around asking what I wanted. It was very annoying. When I went to the Whiskey section she started asking me again what I liked. I couldn't really understand what she was asking because her English was pretty bad but I thought she accused me of owning a store because I knew about whiskey which she had no idea about. Most of what they had was really bad whiskey but there were a few harder to find good bottles but with greedy rip-off pricing double and quadruple the regular price. One bottle, normally $40 was marked to $200. The same woman is still standing there asking what I liked and she just wouldn't leave me alone. I told her the only thing I was interested in were the few bottles that they were trying to screw their customers on. The funny part is they really had no idea what they were doing because they priced them so high that even some people willing to stupidly over pay would never pay that much. When I told her the prices were much too high on what I was interested in she then again says that I owned a Store. I think she was accusing me of trying to want to buy their whiskey so I could resell it at my own store. Another employee now joins here and starts talking to her in another language while they both now watched me and I had a real uncomfortable feeling they were talking about me. The more I tried to convince her I was a collector and knew my Whiskey she kept repeating that I owned a store. While this is going on a young kid that looked like he was about 18 years old was buying Cigarettes and Beer and was never asked for ID. She starts yelling at me now like a crazy person that I owned a store as I'm just trying to get the hell out of the place. I'll never go back as there's no reason with this crazy woman that won't leave you alone screaming false accusations at you. I'm going to report them to the city and state for selling to underage people and I want everyone to know not to go there. They are crooks trying to rip people off. The Patel's now running the store, following you while your being insulted obviously think this is OK.

Absolutely worst liquor store I've ever been to. The lady working was miserable and rude. She was breathing down our back the whole time, following us around the store and ripped the card machine away from my boyfriend. Pathetic. Never going back.
