Worse place ever. I was 2 days late and they charged me $15.00. They take advantage of their customers. Way overpriced. I gave my 15 day notice. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Rented a unit from one of the employees and it was a promotion that wasn’t supposed to end at all, just normal rent increases. I was so impressed, I told my son and daughter and they both rented units as well. We all moved out of our other storage facility which was about 30 minutes away. Thought we had a great deal until about a month later, we all find out that the employee lied to us to get our business (we signed contracts at the price given) but they called and said that they would not honor it and he had no right to rent to us at that rate. They continued to raise the rent every couple of months (substantial amounts) and refused to honor the contracts that we originally agreed to. They are a huge company and would not have lost any sleep over a lousy 3, very long term tenants, getting a discounted rate. They absolutely do not care about their customers. I will not acknowledge any lies they respond with and I would encourage you to not believe a word they say. They are excellent at lying and making up stories. I am so happy to have moved out of their facility and to never have to give them another penny. This is the first bad review I’ve ever left for a business in my entire life. Although the facility is very clean, there always seems to be issues with the key pads to enter the facility. There isn't anyone in the office before 10 am to help with this issue. I've decided to move my belongings to a storage facility where I have easy access to my storage unit. It's very disappointing for a faculty that's been there for only a few years.

If you want access to your unit as promised on your monthly lease go to another facility! They also are constantly increasing your lease after your already moved in. When you ask why they are constantly increasing their rates they will say they are only following the "market value" ??♂️?. But when the market value drops and all other competitors are cheaper then them they will not decrease your rent accordingly. You have been warned ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️

WISH I COULD GIVE A -5 STAR! This is 3 parts review 1-My original review from few months back, 2-Their response and lastly will be an update from today that makes things even worst!1 - Original Review:"So far horrible! It is the third time I try to use my 24hr pass and it doesn’t work, it says “area closed” (I have video to prove it!). When I first got this unit I explained I work with music and how important it is for me to have access to my unit at late hours and that’s when I was offered the 24hrs pass which I immediately accepted! Well so far I have lost $600 and a client that didn’t have the equipment he contracted me to bring to his daughters sweet 16. Never mind my time and stress running around trying to rent something after business hours to at least get by and don’t ruin a girls birthday party completely! What makes it worse is that this happened right away when I first got this unit twice on that very first week with the unit, therefore couple weeks back I went to the desk and told them what happened and that I had an event coming and needed to make sure my 24hrs pass was working, so they did whatever they did that and told me that it wasn’t active but that now I could rest assure it was all set. The rest of the story I already told you! I would like to know what your company will be doing to repair my damage, and if are you going to be able to provide me with the service I signed a contract for in full (24hrs pass) or if I have to move my stuff elsewhere.2-Their response:"Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, Maicon. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with your 24hr pass at Prime Storage. We understand the importance of having access to your unit at late hours, especially for your work with music. We take your feedback seriously and want to make things right. Please expect a call from our customer service representative to discuss the details of your situation. We value your business and want to provide you with the service you signed up for. Thank you for your patience and understanding."3-Todays update:- This place is almost a big scam! Everyone is nice and helpful to get you to go with them and then the table turns. Following my story, I was contacted weeks later from corporate to hear nothing more than an apology and a request to delete/change my review! Nothing about my financial lost, my business reputation damage or my super stressful experience. To top it off, one or couple months later I receive an email about a raise on my rates (which I purposely haven't paid yet because I think its an abuse from them), that is basically voiding all the promises and rates I was given in order to bring my business to their location. I called the location to ask what was going on with this raise and was told, with no shame at all by the representative that thats basically what they do, we receive good really good rates online and over the phone but couple months later they start bringing our account up to get closer and closer to the rate they wanted to charge to begin with. So its pretty much a trap! Don't believe in all the promises you will hear from this people! I literally had a better rate else where and went with this place with the promise of matching the other rate from the other place with the 24hours access (which I haven't yet been able to use without any headaches). Long story short, I am going to pay the abusive raise because thats just what I do, I pay my bills, and will definitely be moving my business elsewhere, and I know it wont make a difference for them and they have proven over and over again in less than 6months they don't give a damn about, but I will do my best to let people know not to fall into this business trap as I have!!!

Deryn was very helpful with the whole process. Showed me where my unit was and made sure my gate code worked before I left. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for storage.Update: emptied out my storage unit and spoke to Brandon at the Swansea location. He was helpful in sorting out my account and closing it out for me. Easy process. Thank you

Brandon and Faith in the front office gave me superior customer service. Helped me so much on perfect location of my two units. Not to mention the dollys they provide for moving your stuff in. Definitely recommend Prime storage for a stress free move in.
