One of the worst Walgreens, I bought a few products while i was on vacation in Connecticut, I went to this location for returns, the manager refused to return some of the products even though they weren’t used and I have my receipt , funniest thing, She even asked me for my ID ,then again i have my receipt , some of my items she suggested to go back to Connecticut to return them because her store didn’t carry them .

Trying to get through to the Pharmacy is beyond painful. You will be on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes, no matter the time of day.For those of you contemplating using this Pharmacy, dont bother. Something is definitely off here!

I share the experience of a lot of commenters here. The line for the pharmacy is often long and slow moving. Calling the pharmacy is torture - I had to call multiple times to refill my prescription as the automated system couldn't handle more than one rx for whatever reason and I didn't have my prescription number to renew online. My first time calling, I was left on hold so long that it rang to the main store line and when I told them I was on hold for the pharmacy they said "oh" and hung up on me. The second time someone answered "Pharmacy, there's currently a 60 minute wait, please hold." I received another call while I waited and had to hang up. I finally got through on my third attempt. The store is poorly stocked too, and when I asked about something I was looking for the person basically shrugged and said "if it's not there we don't have it."I'm going to switch my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, it's not worth the hassle.Update: they gave me an incorrect dose. I called my doctor and confirmed that was not the dosage she sent them. I just got another call that my correct dose of meds is ready but the out of pocket is going to be $70 when it should be closer to $30, I'm assuming because my insurance is refusing to pay for two prescriptions of the same meds on the same day. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else for your pharmaceutical needs.

I just moved to the area and I've never been treated so well from a pharmacy before! They were so kind, explained everything and they were just overall pleasant.

Terrible customer service. Will not answer calls to the pharmacy no matter the day or time.

Cleanest and most efficient Walgreens I've been to on the North Shore. Everything is easy to navigate and there's always more than one cashier at the registers. Everything always seems to be in-stock at this location.

Consistently disappointed in the pharmacy at this location but this morning was a new low. Getting both new or renewed prescriptions filled there is always a time-consuming nightmare & involves several calls, emails, in-person visits before they execute properly. (Hand them a prescription, get it filled… how hard is this?) But this morning I witnessed the pharmacist laugh in the face of an elderly couple who were told by CVS that Walgreens could help them (turns out that they needed an appointment). No offer of assistance, just eye rolls and laughter and a verbal direction to go online or call (how about writing the phone number down for them?) In them, I saw my parents, and I would have been infuriated to see them treated this way. The pharmacist may be comfortable with the convoluted website but I’m willing to bet these folks are not. Kindness and compassion do not exist there.

Came to pick up a prescription and have preferred their pharmacy over many of the other locations I have tried before. They're always friendly and organized. Will definitely come again!

Pro(s): They're the only drugstore that carries my specialty medication - while at nearby competitor CVS it's usually out of stock. Thank you!Con(s): My phone's GPS doesn't work inside or at drive-through ~ Bizzarro- World!Worse, however, is being IGNORED EVERY TIME I report this issue. Is it because I'm OLD? I hope not?AND, Worst Yet? UPDATE: When I noted this on an official Walgreens survey (going on >2 weeks ago I received a Serious Reply (automated): "You may be contacted by Corporate Office" in re this issue. The result? Crickets. Nada. Zip.Update, June the whatever-th: Crickets, continued. Sheesh.

I have been filling my prescriptions at Walgreens for well over 10 years. The last 2 times I went to pick up my prescription the tech gave me a hard time over not knowing the last 4 numbers of the phone number associated with my account. It has been so long that I don't remember, I provided all of my information and even offered my license....instead of making it easy she printed out a form for me to sign releasing my prescription. Here's the fun part, the medication isnt even a controlled substance. I will be taking my business elsewhere

This location is not managed well, it frequently does not have Covid test kits while CVS nearby always has that, it seems that it is frequently understaffed and one has to wait long time on a phone to get help, oddly the staff allows dogs in the store.

I am a Walgreens fan. At my work we take clients to the Walgreens in East Boston I have personally had great experiences with the WALGREENS in Lynn and I am a big fan of their manager. The Walgreens in Lawrence treats my sister wonderfully. I generally eschew chains whenever possible but I make an exception for Walgreens. However, the Walgreens on Paradise Rd in Swampscitt is not like any other Walgreens. Today was the last straw. I was personally and maliciously insulted by a pharmacy worker. This happened after the pharmacy made getting my prescriptions filled difficult ( so difficult that the nurse at my Doctors office commented on how difficult and "petty" the pharmacist she spoke to was). I had to call to find out what the holdup with my prescription, I was transfered to the manager who reprimanded me for the way I reacted to my treatment by the pharmacy tech who insulted me. . This manager,Ed , is unprofessional and his employees are as well . This place is to be avoided at all costs..

Their pharmacy is incompetent. Takes several hours to fill medication, and you get a robot not a person when calling.
