“They are pretty professional, including the front desk ladies and the mechanics. It's stunning to see a shop that has dedicatedly worked in this field for 50ish years!
The shop is lovely and everything is well organized. They are really helpful in contacting the Maffre insurance appraisal and total loss department.
The price for service is great, and the labor is detailed and clean.
Though it's sad to see my car is totaled at the end, I am still glad it's this group of people handled the last journey of her. Bye M4.”

“Pierce Collision does a fantastic job from start to finish of their body work. Corinne who works in the office is very friendly and professional and answered my phone calls with immediate and honest expectations of the repair. She completed all of the paper work with my insurance company and even arranged for me to have a rental car for a day towards the end of the repair which I didn’t need because the repair was finished early. I asked for the number of the car rental place and she said she would take care of cancelling it! Car accidents are stressful but Pierce Collison repaired my car so that it looks brand new. “My wife ended up stranded in Acton with a dead battery, in desperate need of a jump start. Called around to various mechanics who (as it turns out) don't do roadside service related work, but Sawyer Auto recommended LGL Towing. Gave them a call and they were very friendly and responsive. They were busy and their tow trucks were occupied (a busy Monday morning during rush hour), but Gary (I assume it was the owner) was able to drive his personal truck over, arrive within about 15 minutes, and get us jump-started and on our way within about 30 seconds. Price was fair and he was able to swipe my credit card and charge me on the spot with a portable device.All with a friendly and positive attitude - highly recommended.Service: Battery service”

“I’ve lived in Ashland for many years but never realized how many great local businesses there are until I made a point of doing a bit of homework and actually seeking them out. This service shop certainly seems to be one of those hidden gems. I got an oil change for my 2013 Subaru Legacy and had them check out the car in general. A Subaru dealer tried to scam me for $7000 worth of repair work, but the ASC mechanic confirmed what I felt from driving the car — everything is fine. But I do need a new set of tires and will have ASC do the work. The service manager, Bob, has been there for 30+ years. The shop does a brisk business and obviously has a regular customer base. Probably not the cheapest place to get service; but in a time when people aren’t so invested in having long term relationships with their customers, it’s great to do business with people who care.”

“Definitely recommend Castro as a mechanic! I was told by another local mechanic that I needed a ton of work done, but I had had some of the same work done recently and brought my car to Castro for a second opinion. They told me what I actually needed, charged me way less than I was quoted for the same work from multiple other places. They were able to get me in the day after I called, and finished the work within a few hours. They were very communicative the whole time, and also very friendly and easy to talk with.”
