Ladies running the sandwich shop were very nice and pleasant. The snack options were great, too. Not sure why this location has such poor reviews - I found it a welcome respite along the highway.

From time to time I have popped into this location over the years, more so than not the team members are obviously miserable and unhappy. Which is unfortunate, whether the reasons are personal or due to their working conditions. However, today I was purchasing newspapers for packing purposes. The gentleman that checked me out advised that the papers were not cheap and that I’d be better off getting yesterdays out of the dumpster. To which I was appreciative that he had brought that to my attention, I declined purchasing the newspapers and only intended to pay for my other item other than the papers. I offered to put the papers back when the gentlemen told me not to worry about it, that he would put them back as it would get him away from the register. After returning home, I noticed that I was in fact charged for the papers. I returned to the location to request a refund. Upon dealing with the same gentleman from earlier, he told me that he assumed I’d forgotten the papers and that I never indicated that I was no longer interested in purchasing them. For whatever reason, the cashier was lying to me at this point as we had a whole conversation less than 30 minutes prior about this. As ridiculous as this all is, I proceeded to apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred. My unnecessary apology was not received well, and I was made to feel as though I had caused the issue. This was a minor inconvenience, the only issue I had was being confronted with a lie about the initial interaction/purchase when requesting a refund for something I did not intentionally purchase.

This place is terrible. The middle aged women at night have nasty attitudes. Plus, don’t try to call the store for information, it a fax.

Rude staff and racist. Never again thanks to the white bearded man. If you are so unhappy and miserable with your job, get a new one and get some education on treating with respect everyone regardless of race and ethnic group.

XtraMart is located in front of the Country Inn and Suites, and how convenient for late night snacking! There was a Subway attached, but they do actually close, unlike XtraMart which is supposed to be open 24/7. They have everything you need - soft drinks, waters, chips, candies, and for people not used to Massachusetts - alcohol. (There may be time limits on those sales, I don't know and didn't test it) There are also gas pumps.

i believe his name was don working there tonight. he kicked my service animal out because “no pets allowed”, even though there was NO sign outside and once again HE WAS MY SERVICE ANIMAL. He questioned me what kind and where my certification was which is completely illegal. And even after explaining what kind of service dog he was and the reason i need him, he still told me to take him outside...even after i explained to him i just need to buy a charger quickly for the hotel i’m at and he needs to stay by my side at all times for safety!!

Don is a terrible customer service associate. He is rude to not only the other employees, but to the customers aswell. He is very unprofessional looking; "not clean".The store would be a happier and friendlier place if this person was not there. Otherwise id give 5 stars

Store charged 1000 dollars more than the clearly marked price even though I showed them the price they charged me extra 10.00 dollars.
