Driving late evening on I90W far from my home in Maine, a sudden brake line malfunction left my Jeep incapacitated. Miles away from familiarity, the anxiety started to creep in. I was in my way to a conference in Saratoga Springs with little time to spare. But just like in those classic tales where the hero finds a kind-hearted soul in the midst of adversity, I found Sturbridge Auto Body.From the moment I contacted them, Dinette in the office proved to be nothing short of a guardian angel. Not only did she provide reassurance about the repairs, but she also went above and beyond, helping me secure a rental car. We came from out of town and had car trouble on Sunday night, we called first thing Monday morning and they had us come right in! They looked over the car to make sure it was safe and confirmed the diagnosis originally said over the phone. Sent us on our way and didn’t charge. We were so appreciative, especially traveling with two kids under 3. Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating!

Mark did some great diagnostic work on the fly. We were staying over at Sturbridge on a long trip and started noticing a loud scraping noise at certain speeds. I called several places to see if they could take a quick look at the vehicle without any success, until I called these guys and they said to come right in. Mark went for a quick drive with me and within 2 minutes he basically had it figured out -- the front rotors were shot. I didn't have the time to wait for him to get a chance to do the repair so I offered him a little money for his time, but he refused to take anything. Its great to have people like Mark that are willing to help out someone who is not a local. I joked to him that he reminded me of the "Car Guys" radio show, and he smiled.

This review is LONG overdue. I was driving from Maine to Florida last year when my car lost most of its power. I pulled into Sturbridge and luckily made it into Sturbridge Auto Body. I'm so grateful for them. They got me in the door, got parts quickly delivered (they didn't have the one I needed in their shop) and got me back on the road within a couple of hours. They even went above and beyond helping me with figuring out a paint issue I'd been having with some road paint sticking to my truck. I never had a moment of doubt when I started working with them. I'd recommend anyone in the area or otherwise to make this their regular mechanic.Services: General repairs & maintenance

While heading back home to PA after a vacation my engine light went on and car was shaking. In the morning I called Mark and he said bring it in. They tested my car and showed me the results that it was an ignition coil. They were very friendly and got the job done in under two hours while I waited. They were trustworthy and friendly and I would highly recommend them to anyone!! Thanks guys for being there for me when I was far from home!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The owner, Mark, is great! He is personable, efficient and polite. Someone hit my brand new car and he matched the paint perfectly. The car was finished in 4 days. I highly recommend this body shop.

Had body work done on my car. It came out great I’m so happy with paint job looks like new. My field insurance adjuster quit before completing the inspection on my car. Mark and Danette kept working to get someone out to the shop so they could get my car done and get it back to me.
