Poor customer service. I went around 4:15 yesterday (May 28th). The cashier was extremely rude to me. He would not look at me and seemed disgusted with me. He barely put my change in my hand. He was prejudice and did not like the color of my skin. I asked him if there was something wrong and he said "I don't know what you're talking about." He had long strawberry blonde hair. If you are black/brown the customer service here will be awful for you. I will not be returning.

In the past I've had good experiences here. Last night however changed that. I needed a part, checked on line, found they had it in stock, and checked their hours. Open until 7-perfect. Walked up to the door at 6:52 and despite the door sign saying "open" it would not open, but the 3 employees standing inside came out and let me right in. Not with a pleasant greeting, instead, his exact greeting, and I kid you not " we're closing in 5 minutes. What do you need?" He escorted me to the section and I started to ask a question as he walked away and he grunted "everything we have is there". Cashier was equally unpleasant by not greeting me or thanking me. Due only to location I will return, but will do everything I can to avoid it, and will share this story with other locals.

I get our propane cylinders filled up here. Decent prices, nice people. The store has a lot to offer. Very good parking and accessibility.

This True Value has a great staff, and actually has quite a few more options for many products than a Home Depot. I try to support local businesses, and this is one I go to first and will continue with their high level of service.

On Friday July 31st My husband and I went to have our propane tank filled cause we had won a gift certificate here. The lady told my husband the tank was expired and we would have to purchase a new tank. He can back to the car so we could talk to figure out if we had another tank. We decided we were going to just buy a new tank. There was 2 employees outside a lady in her early 40s and a young man. As my husband approached the young man the woman threw her arms up and said its 5:00 I'm going home. The young man then said its 5:00 now and we are closed and refused to help him. I find this extremely unprofessional especially the older lady. We were going to try and give the smaller store a chance to start earning our business but it was back to The Home Depot we went. We will not return

Had 4 window screens replaced , picked them up two days after Idropped them off! at a very reasonable price. Also filled my propane tank for the grill while I was at it. Everyone was helpful and courteous. Thanks for a great experience.

Shout-out to the staff and store @ T.V. / Stoughton ! I live closer to another store nearby and for years have not been happy with the attitude of the staff there, unfortunately. Yesterday , after trying to find a few items that the other store had none of, and dealing with a confused manager over another simple issue, I decided to head over to Stoughton . The contrast couldn’t have been more evident, the service was friendly and competent, and the store itself was better stocked and easier to navigate. I’ll be patronizing the Stoughton store whenever possible. They should be proud.

Always friendly, ACTUALLY knowledgable, not pushy or overbearing customer assistance available without waiting or hunting down someone in the appropriate color vest...like I tend to experience everytime I have to go to Lowe’s or HD. No waiting in line. They fill propane. They have popcorn there sometimes and my kids LOVE it...Much preferred home improvement store to shop at locally.

Highly recommend for convenience w/excellent service! Refreshing to have a real person who answers the phone AND can answer a question. Parking spots close to the entrance and store associates who help with a smile will keep me coming back.
