“Packed with so much stuff, found some great items here, feels cramped but it’s worth it to scour the aisles.Unlike most thrifts, the sale colors are easy to find and plentiful, it’s worth it to shop the sales and you’ll find some gems.Clothes here are NOT organized by size, and quite frankly even style. There’s tops, pants, and pajamas and dresses. You need to give yourself 1-2 hours to really get a good search of the place.Home goods are pretty lacking, this isn’t the place to come shopping for a new apartment.”

“I love photographing weddings at the Bradley Estate! It’s this tucked away little gem of a wedding venue. Eleanor Cabot Bradley lived there starting in 1945 and it’s now a Trustees property open to the public. They can accommodate 80 guests inside the mansion or 180 under the tent. Around every corner is a beautiful piece of history that makes for a great backdrop for photos.”

“One of the most enjoyable volunteering experiences I have ever had. Split into teams of picking the books, verifying choices, sorting through donated books, packaging for mail, etc, you work independently to respond to an inmates letter with the books they request (genre, topic, author, etc!). Picking was my job today which was so fun the 4 hrs they were open didn't feel like anything. I blinked and it was done. It was fun, interactive, stimulating g, and rewarding. Seeing people's personalities sign through their letters and being on a personal shopper mission to get what they want and need was fantastic. There is also the Adams' tombs that they can bring you to see which tickled the historic bug in my brain! This group does such important and beloved work, can't wait to be back!”

“Awesome. Organized and the activities to have parent engagement is very important and I am impressed in all of the ways they come together and have these activities for the us and the children. The additional services that are provided are necessary in early education and HeadStart does a fabulous job with providing such services! I can go on and on, I’m pleased.”

“Just got home from the 100th Anniversary Gala at the Dedham Community House and walking through the front door after not having been there for over 3 DECADES, I was rocketed back to the days of my youth when I spent a great deal of time at D.C.H. The fellowship of the event was palpable and the pride in the principles that D.C.H. encompasses is inspiring. The outgoing director of 15 years, Michelle, introduced the new incoming director, who has decades of experience in non profit programs and knows and understands the missions and goals of Dedham Community House).I went to preschool here and I was both nurtured and gently disciplined so that I could LEARN and the wonderful teachers helped form me into the human being that I am today. I went to Dedham Community House summer camp from age 6 to age 12. I made some of my closest friends during those summers days at camp. I learned teamwork, scheduling and routine, listening to directions, sports, crafts, and empathy and compassion for others. I wouldn't trade those days for anything. It's so wonderful to know that D.C.H. is still a place for children to go to be safe and guided. D.C.H. is an important part of our community and I am sure it will be here and thriving 100 years from now. ???”

“We enjoy visiting for their programs as well as to say hi to the Llamas. In June and beyond, the Kousa Dogwoods are spectacular. They also have outdoor music on several evenings during the summer. Well worth checking out!”

“Quincy community action has been extremely helpful. Especially this year nobody to help me facing potential homelessness no more thanks to Auierlla is the best & went above & beyond to help me!! And Q cap as a whole is great they get the job done & very responsive . Wish I could give a 10 ⭐ so they help with a lot more than fuel assistance programs for higher education as I thought.. “One of the best and safest emergency shelters on the Greater Boston Area. Staff is compassionate and always willing to help and/or make reasonable accommodations when necessary. I was homeless for a short period of time however that experience was way smoother because of Father Bill’s. Their case managers and support system in general helped me get approved for government housing assistance a matter of weeks! Big shoutout to all FBMS staff ❤️❤️❤️????”

“Because of the immeasurable kindness and humble intelligence of Dr. Gabriel, Dr. Chang, Dr. Gattereau, and Dr. Rosas. I will always recommend all friends and family to come here. My favorite mentors are at BNHC Dental, and they often treat patients with so much attention, as if they are the only appointments the doctors have that day. Dr. Gabriel recommends the best treatment plans with the patients' interests as the priority and Dr. Gattereau performs root canals flawlessly. Dr. Chang is always smiling, and all docs leave patients feeling so welcomed and cared for. I wish I could give this dental clinic 6/5 stars as opposed to 5!”
