I like working here because the environment is safe, welcoming, and warm. Being that I am from Cape Verde and not an American native, I worried about a work environment that would be friendly and inviting. Since working here I have gained so much experience and so many friends. My coworkers have made working here so easy. They have created a safe space for me where I can come to work, teach, and make a difference. I strive everyday to positively impact these kids and help them be kind, helpful, and respectful to everyone.
Joining this team has been so amazing and it was an easy choice to enroll my daughter here. I know she is in a place that will help her be well rounded but still herself. This keeps me at peace that she is getting the best care.

For the past 14 years, Academy Preschool has been my cherished home. My journey began 15 years ago when I was assigned to do my work practicum here. Instantly, I was captivated by the program, the facilities, and administration. Upon completing my degree, I knew without a doubt that this was where I belonged- a place to work, to thrive, and to evolve . Throughout the years, my colleagues have become my extended family and I would not be the teacher I am today without their support

My two children both spent three years at Academy Preschool, and I can't speak highly enough about the program. Everything from the dedicated staff to the excellent facilities contributed to my children thriving during their time there. Even after they transitioned to elementary school, we maintained close ties with the staff, who we consider to be like family. This connection was so strong that after 23 years in a different profession, I decided to pursue further education in early childhood education. Now, three years later, I am a certified teacher at Academy Preschool, and I couldn't imagine working anywhere else. The support and understanding from the owner, directors, and fellow teachers create a true team environment where we always lend a helping hand to one another. Each member of the staff brings their unique creativity and expertise, and it's wonderful to collaborate and bounce ideas off each other to ensure our collective success. There's truly nothing more fulfilling than witnessing the growth and learning of these children—it's a job filled with deep meaning and heartfelt satisfaction.

Both of our children have attended Academy Preschool over the last few years and we've been extremely happy with the quality of curriculum as well as the friendliness of the teachers and staff.My kids were always happy to be dropped off each morning and have nothing but good things to say at pickup about how they spent their day.Jess and the rest of the teachers are always very accommodating and communicate well with parents throughout the year. I especially like being able to pay tuition on the Brightwheel app and seeing pictures of my son doing activities during the week.The school is conveniently located on West Street in Stoughton, away from the busy parts of town with traffic lights and congestion. Easy drop off and pick up is a big plus! Can't say enough good things about Academy Preschool.
