Larry and Scott are very trustworthy and thorough. They have looked after our two cars for many years and I highly recommend them. Larry & Scott have always treated us fairly when servicing our two cars for years (and years). A few times I have asked to look at something, and they said it was nothing and didn't charge me. The exhaust needed to be replaced on one of our cars, and they referred me to another company that specialized in it, as they could do it better than cheaper. They have earned our trust & business.

I didn't go here for service, so can't speak on that. But I accidently parked my car at their garage bay thinking it was another one I had intended to go to. I was there for 5 minutes and one of the mechanics comes out screaming and cursing at me, threatening to "break" my car for parking there. Honest mistake and I was apologizing and instantly went to move my car and he continually berated me, cursing me out all the way until I was back on the street. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behavior, if their goal is to turn away customers, then keep it up! Ridiculous to yell at a young adult continuously when all I was doing was apologizing for the misunderstanding.

I knew my father always went to Walt Curran & Sons Automotive, so when I was traveling north of Boston from my home in Plymouth, and my display said I needed to add a quart of oil, this was the one place I knew I could trust. Larry quickly told me what oil the car needed (I had recently purchased it as a used car and didn't even know where the hood release was located!) and showed me what to do. Great service and even better because he remembered my father and I remember his. I may have to move back to Stoneham!!!

I brought all my cars from needing tune ups, inspections, repairs and just answers to questions regarding cars. Walter, Larry, and Scott were fair and reliable no matter what I brought my car in for. I would highly recommend anyone to go there especially women or people that don't know much about cars. You will be happy you did. I guarantee it!!!

Finally an auto repair shop you can trust. They treat your car like their own. They diagnosed my car problem with computer technology, showed me via email and photos what the problem was and then quoted a fair price using quality parts and very reasonable labor rates. At my request, they also checked belts and hoses so I wouldn't end up at the side of the road. It is unusual to deal directly with the person who is making the repair rather than the car "going behind the curtain" and who know who is doing the work. True transparency.
I will be regularly taking in my cars to Scott and Larry and will recommend them whenever the opportunity arises. Thanks guys!
