I've had a couple of decent experiences at this post office but, I wanted to acknowledge a mail carrier. I lived in Stoneham for 5ish years and I recently moved to Woburn after getting divorced. Today (a Saturday) my old mail carrier from my apartment on Stevens Street in Stoneham came to my apartment in Woburn (I left a forwarding address) to check on some mail addressed to our old business to see if I forgot to forward the business mail. I truly appreciate the time he took to come and check with me about this and I'm very grateful for the extra effort. He could have easily just returned the mail to the sender but he went above and beyond to make sure he did the right thing with it. Very very impressed.

I recently had a situation that I created by cutting and pasting my return address on an incoming envelope to an outgoing piece! Well it came back to me because an incoming bar code I left on the return address that was originally the incoming address to my home!So I called the Post Office and spoke to Shawn who said they spotted the problem and corrected it for me!Thank you very much , to my Window Clerk, Carrier, and Shawn for their help with this.It was an extremely important document !Thank you, John A.

Extremely rude and poor customer management with long lines. Sales associate spoke very disrespectfully and in a totally unwarranted manner to me. Will not be sending mail from this location again, though clearly from other reviews, others agree on the poor quality of service here.

I use FB market very often. Cheers! Now you can skip the long line if you have a prepaid package. Just throw it in the container, and that's it! Super!

Was in there at 10:20 am, waited 12 mins in line for 10:30 passport appointment and when my turn came, the manager, I believe, simply said you are late, cannot do passport today. She kept on rambling you are late. Found it very rude.

My fiancé came in there today to mail a package. The lady has terrible customer service. Very rude. Idk why these ppl are so grumpy everytime i come here.

Best service I have ever received at a USPS. Had to get my passport along with a passport for my 4-week old baby. They were so nice and accommodating. Was running a bit late with the baby and they still took care of us. My wife who went to another site for her passport was so impressed as well. We were in and out in 15 minutes and she even took a picture.

Horrible post office site. The elderly woman at the front desk scanned in my package and said I should receive an email for package shipment receipt. Never received the email. Good thing I had my paper receipt with the tracking info. The package I sent to a customer was lost. I checked online and the package disappeared at this stoneham location. The employees at this location must be opening/ taking the packages

Most rude employees (two ladies working on Saturday) we have ever encountered. Bad manners and they were not willing to hep during our passport appointment for our daughters.Today we went to Wakefield’s post office and incredible, friendly and patient enployees.

This is a very undermanned post office. However the counter staff is very friendly and goes the extra mile to make up for the lack of staff. The only people complaining are the one that do not understand what is actually going on. We live in a society that has a right now mentality and if you have a little patience you will see how great the staff is.

Just wanted to comment on the Passport Service at this Post Office, even though the camera isn’t working,(for photos)I received prompt friendly service from Tammy & would advise anyone to use this office.

My family (4 people) made an appointment for passport renewal at the post office. When we arrived, the woman behind the desk wasn't wearing a face mask. Getting a passport renewed--for 3 children and an adult--takes at least 30 minutes; I didn't feel comfortable working with someone, at a close distance, if she isn't wearing a mask. I asked why she didn't wear a face mask when working with customers; she said she has asthma. However, even if severe asthma keeps her from wearing a mask, she could at least wear a face shield--or the post office could decide to assign her to a position where she isn't interacting with customers all day. My family decided to leave because we didn't feel safe. We ended up going to the Burlington post office where the very helpful young man helping us did wear a face mask.
