I cringe when I have to go here. It's only maybe 4 or 5 times per year, but every single time it's unpleasant. I understand that this is a post office and the running joke or reputation forever has been that postal workers are always on edge and blah blah blah, but regardless of said reputation, it's still customer service. Period. The people here, overwhelmingly are unfriendly, act like they couldn't care less, and at times even seem like they want to aggravate you. Whoever the younger kid is working today, (9/28/24) not a fan. As I said, I'm not in here often, but when I am, it's because I absolutely have to be, and it's never a good experience. Good help is hard to find these days, I get it, but the consistency of the poor service here for years is just crazy.

I have always had good experiences here, aside from today. THEIR website glitched and gave us a passport appointment at 9:15am, unfortunately they don’t start until 10. This would’ve been fine but the way the postal worker at the front desk spoke to me was ridiculous. Right from the start he was rude and condescending, and had zero guidance on what to do with such a time sensitive appointment. He asked for my confirmation over and over after I showed him multiple times as if I was lying, which I very clearly wasn’t. He said he would get the manager, which he did not at any point. We already had pictures etc and just needed to mail in the application. It’s really stressful and disappointing when the mistake is on their end and you’re looking for guidance only to be met by rude and incompetent people.

Always Excellent Customer Service At the Stoneham Post Office! The Woman the Run the front are Excellent With helping Customers get there package off and get stamps ECT... Can't ask for better Employees then the staff you have at the Stoneham Post Office! Thank you it's My Pleasure to come from Medford to do my business here!

I've had a couple of decent experiences at this post office but, I wanted to acknowledge a mail carrier. I lived in Stoneham for 5ish years and I recently moved to Woburn after getting divorced. Today (a Saturday) my old mail carrier from my apartment on Stevens Street in Stoneham came to my apartment in Woburn (I left a forwarding address) to check on some mail addressed to our old business to see if I forgot to forward the business mail. I truly appreciate the time he took to come and check with me about this and I'm very grateful for the extra effort. He could have easily just returned the mail to the sender but he went above and beyond to make sure he did the right thing with it. Very very impressed.

I recently had a situation that I created by cutting and pasting my return address on an incoming envelope to an outgoing piece! Well it came back to me because an incoming bar code I left on the return address that was originally the incoming address to my home!So I called the Post Office and spoke to Shawn who said they spotted the problem and corrected it for me!Thank you very much , to my Window Clerk, Carrier, and Shawn for their help with this.It was an extremely important document !Thank you, John A.

Extremely rude and poor customer management with long lines. Sales associate spoke very disrespectfully and in a totally unwarranted manner to me. Will not be sending mail from this location again, though clearly from other reviews, others agree on the poor quality of service here.

I use FB market very often. Cheers! Now you can skip the long line if you have a prepaid package. Just throw it in the container, and that's it! Super!

Was in there at 10:20 am, waited 12 mins in line for 10:30 passport appointment and when my turn came, the manager, I believe, simply said you are late, cannot do passport today. She kept on rambling you are late. Found it very rude.

Best service I have ever received at a USPS. Had to get my passport along with a passport for my 4-week old baby. They were so nice and accommodating. Was running a bit late with the baby and they still took care of us. My wife who went to another site for her passport was so impressed as well. We were in and out in 15 minutes and she even took a picture.

Horrible post office site. The elderly woman at the front desk scanned in my package and said I should receive an email for package shipment receipt. Never received the email. Good thing I had my paper receipt with the tracking info. The package I sent to a customer was lost. I checked online and the package disappeared at this stoneham location. The employees at this location must be opening/ taking the packages

Most rude employees (two ladies working on Saturday) we have ever encountered. Bad manners and they were not willing to hep during our passport appointment for our daughters.Today we went to Wakefield’s post office and incredible, friendly and patient enployees.
