It's fine for lottery or light shopping, emphasis on the word "light" as literally everything they sell is at a ridiculous mark up and a lot of their inventory for anything edible is extremely old , dusty, and shockingly over priced....

Horrible service and they try to scam you with scratch ticket winners. The old owner was so nice but the folks he sold to are horrible. On several occasions they have intentionally "dropped" a winning scratch ticket after scanning it. They will scan the ticket, drop it, and try to give you less money or less tickets for the winning amount. Absolutely horrible. My family and I live in CT now but stopped into Stoneham a few days ago. The store is by the highway so we went in, they are still up to their old tricks.

Absolutely right about the obese clerk that works till closing. He’s very very mouthy! And he’s shorted me on my change a couple of times! They are already ripping you off with their prices but that’s not enough for him! Town convenience! Convenient for who?

I went in to buy the Globe & Herald. Also got a coke, went to pay & the women said we don't take Amex, I said it's not it's a MC. I couldn't understand her & her husband comes over & says you can but newspapers with a credit card! So sad that the nice owners here for many years sold to these rude people. Don't go there.
