Singer Repair - This place is easy to find, easy parking. The service woman was very helpful, easy to talk to about my machine repair. The machinist tech worked on my machine in less than a week and it cost less than $100 to repair. This is how all service repairs should be - EASY . I hope they never close up shop, not many places around like this one. Thank You

I visited Marie's Sewing Center last Saturday. I could not get my Sewing Machine Bobbin to catch. Theresa was there and she helped me get the bobbin in place. She fixed a sewing problem that I was working on. Customer Service and Expertise is excellent. Thank you!

Please don't go this store for repairs. Maria will make up every excuse in the book to tell you that your machine will be fixed soon. The machine will sit there for several months. This has happened more than once. One time they had my machine for over one year. That is unbelievable but true. She quoted me $300 for another repair and I found someone to fix it for a lot less. I had to go out of state but it was well worth it to me. You can take so many lies and then you go elsewhere. Don't waste your time at Marie's Sewing.

Took in a machine for "thorough" servicing and to replace a part that they held for over 6 months, didn't even clean and barely works any better than when we dropped it off. It was such an ordeal dealing with these people that we just cut our losses and went to another store. They will lie to your face about getting specific parts and act like they're heroes for getting aftermarket parts that anyone could get off eBay half a year later

I was warned by someone in the industry that Maries is "horrible". They make the sale, then dont care one bit about you. Couldn't be more true. Teresa suggested a machine that was out of stock and that needed to be ordered. Told me it would be in by the end of the week. Never tried out the machine, I went on blind faith. 2 weeks later I reached out to the store several times, got no answers as to timing for receiving it. Not thrilled that I had to pay BEFORE trying this machine, and if it wasn't what I was looking for, my only option would be a STORE CREDIT. wait, but I didnt even take the machine out of the store. Not thrilled with that policy, and with not been giving a timeline, I cancelled my order and purchased the machine at another store with better customer service, better communication, FAR better policies and nicer people.Marie, maybe you'll start paying attention to the slew of negative reviews online and make some changes. Oh, and I paid for 2 hours of class. An hour of which teresa spent threading a machine for us to use. Of course they make you pay for this ahead of time. Had I paid AFTER the fact, I would have only paid for the 1 hour of class time.I should have listened to the other store owner and stayed far away from this place.

Marie was so kind and helpful in helping me to locate a replacement foot pedal for an older (80s model) Singer Sewing Machine at a very reasonable price. I was not at my best because I was going through a challenging time and Marie was just so patient and understanding with everything.

I'm a newbie sewer and was trying to attempt to create box cushions. I broke the needle on my machine and thought I had an issue with my machine because the stitching was getting bunched up. I brought it into Marie's to see if they can fix it. Theresa was there and she so kindly replaced the needle for free and expertly pointed out that I had the tension on the wrong setting, which fixed the issue! I needed a zipper attachment and she showed me how to replace the main needed with it and how to adjust it. Theresa was so kind and patient and I very much appreciate her help! Thank you!

Being an inexperienced sewer with a machine I had only used once a couple of years ago, I could not figure out how to thread my machine. Brought it in to Marie’s and Theresa very patiently showed me how to do it. Explained everything as she was doing it. Told me any questions , just call. They could not have been any nicer. Very impressed with the ladies and the store. Will definitely recommend!

I bought both my machines here which were great experiences. I was using one of them and it decided to have a fit and break. I took it in and was told that it would be ready for pick up the following week. Not a big deal. I call the following week as I am driving from work to the store only to be told that it hadn't been looked at and that they had to order a part. I asked how much the part was (~$40) and they had to wait for my authorization to purchase before ordering. And wasn't even called to be notified. I was also told that while they were at it they were going to service to make sure that the machine functioned like it should and made sense and was told the total price for the fix including replacing the bobbin case was going to be $90-$140. Ok that sounds reasonable and it should be ready by the end of the next week. The next Friday rolls around and I don't hear anything and I was busy with other things. I wait till Wednesday to give the a call (2 1/2 weeks into this). I call and ask what's going on and why it hasn't been completed yet and if it isn't completed by the end of the week I would pick it up and take it to another place to be fixed. They then were able to have it fixed and ready by Friday and I picked up that Saturday only to find out the full price was $180 including the 20% discount which $40 over what I had expected. The people are nice and polite but when it comes to getting quotes I recommend it be in writing with them.
