We had a very professional experience with the owner. He was more than fair and honest. It was also a much better experience than in Boston where the pricing was much more for the same product. -Chris

This place is awesome. I got the most money for my Rolex and I shopped around a lot. Pleasure doing business with you!

I brought in a necklace for repair at the Gold Refinery. Russ was professional, polite, and attentive. The first time the necklace came back repaired, it didn't quite fit my specifications. Russ sent it back out for a serving time with no charge in a timely fashion. The next time it came back, it was exactly as I'd wanted it, and due to having to send it out twice, Russ didn't charge me. Very impressed with the service.

Seller beware. I recently went in to see how much I could get for some gold. First, the weight was several grams LOWER than what it actually weighs!!! Their offer was laughable as the very next place I went to, weighed it correctly and offered me almost DOUBLE of what Gold Refinery's offer was. Ridiculous, obvious scam attempt by some real con artists.

Went there 2 weeks ago, with a few rings. One of which was a known vintage diamond engagement ring, about half a carat. The Russian woman behind the counter took one look at it, and said 'this isn't real' and proceeded to pull out some light pen and shined it on the stone, and nothing registered. She did this 2 times. (Obviously she didn't turn it on ) Then she shined the light on another ring with many small diamonds and it all lit up. So she offered me just the scrap gold value of the ring which was $50. I knew she was trying to rip me off right away, but I kept letting her talk. She kept texting someone (the owner of the store) while I was there, and asked him about every piece of jewelry I showed her. I thanked her and went to my usual guy in Wakefield the next day and he gave me $400 for the 'real' half carat diamond engagement ring. Steer clear of these con artists unless you want to be completely ripped off!!!!!!!!!
