I don't know why I took so long to review them.
This place is awesome, you will find things here that you can't find at the big box stores.
Prices are competitive.
If you need assistance you will get it immediately, unlike the big box stores.
Also they refill your propane tank, Which means you get a full tank not a three quarter tank like the tank exchange places for the same price.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2022...two friends and I were in Stoneham for the Greater Boston Stage Company's production of"Little Women, The Musical" and we had some time to kill since we had planned for possible bad traffic along the way. We ended up milling around the theater area to browse. Voilà Spartan Paint & Supply! The guys inside were very welcoming, personable, helpful, and kind and it was open and it was warm inside. We were not looking to buy anything, but all three of us ended up finding something that we needed and all made purchases. I skipped the complimentary fresh popcorn, but I did score a free calendar on the way out the door! Terrific store...so much variety...impressive collection of YETI products, too. Definitely worth the trip on its own. An awesome experience.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and may have different experiences. Regrettable customer service in my experience, despite what the older reviews say. The only people skill many of the employees seem to have mastered is the dead stare, and it can be pretty chilling when directed at you! The employees at Round's Hardware down the street, while not warm and fuzzy, are much more professional.

I work for a designer hardware showroom in Burlington and when I had a customer call, needing hinge screws that we did not have in-stock, I called Aaron at Spartan. Aaron literally "jogged" back and forth from the front of the store to the back, a couple of times, to check stock on the specific screws my customer needed. I was able to call my customer back and send him up the street to Spartan to pick them up. Now my customer can install his client's front door in this freezing weather! Everyone is happy! Thanks for the hustle, Aaron!!

This is a truly classic hardware store, anytime I have needed something for home improvement or general merchandise they have always come through- looking for a screw?- looking for some glue? Looking for a tarp? They got you covered and you won't be taken by supplies(!)

Great place to go locally for ny garden supplies, paint for the home, and most other things I need like a mat for the bottom of the bathtub! Great friendly staff! AND huge selection of Yeti products and grills!
