“This is for the diner portion of this business. Very friendly staff on Tuesday mornings. The guy who works breakfast is very accommodating. They are a but pricey but it is downtown stockbridge. Overall quality of the food has been good each time I have taken clients there. I have had a western omelette, a quesadilla and just eggs over easy. No homefries with the omelettes those are extra. I personally do not care since I dont eat home fries usually but people expect it. There is a $15 minimum on a credit card”
“This is a very decent sized supermarket. they have lots of room, multiple aisles, and a great selection on food. They had plenty of sales which was a great for me as a visitor to the area. The Big Y discount members card was very easy to get (unlike other supermarkets around the area). The only issue was the TERRIBLE cell reception in the building. We had to physically go outside to make an account. No biggie. Their produce section is very nicely stocked with lots of variety. They have a whole area just for organic foods. there is a huge selection of meats. They have a nice deli and bakery area too. I will say, I was a bit disappoint in their prepared foods, but perhaps that is just what their customer base wants. There isn't a whole lot going on in the prepared foods that is very satisfactory. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was overall a very nice place to shop”
“We love Price Chopper brand of Albacore Tuna. When it's on sale, we stock up. We will buy it without the "sale" price, just not as much. The store is well stocked & clean. Workers are friendly & helpful.”
“This is hands down my favorite store in all the Berkshires. Isabel and Bernie took a good store and, over the past three years, made it iconic. Step by step they modernized it, reimagined the offerings, staffed it with a wonderful team. When most of us were staying home during the pandemic years, they showed up every day, demonstrating to the community that when you are essential, and food certainly is, you serve even at your own peril. Thank you.Contrast it to what we typically find now in the food deserts we call our small towns. At the local "marts" you'll find highly processed foods that are terrible for you. Here, at Loeb's, you can delight in local breads, fresh meats, sandwiches made with love, organic vegetables, food staples that are good for you. All at prices that are reasonable! Who knew it was possible. Bernie, Isabel, all I want for Christmas is for every small town in America to have a store, and store owners, with your vision and dedication to the hard work of being the best you can be. Keep it up. You make the challenge of greatness look so simple when in reality it is an art form.”
“Guidos, please after shopping at your store for 33 years I wish you would make returning an item a less fraught experience. In the 33 years which I have shopped regularly I can count on one hand the number of items I have returned. Every time I have been met with rudeness. I love your store but sometimes (rarely) an item does not meet your (mine) standards. This happened with your grilled artichokes recently which were really poor. Not a big deal, it happens. I returned it and did not have a receipt although there is no other business that sells these in the area. The manager reluctanty gave me a $6 credit (having deducted the couple of artichokes we sampled). I said thank you, she (tall, thin, blond) walked away without either apologizing or even saying you're welcome. I know this sounds silly, definitely first world problem but Guidos if you're reading this remember - folks like me are your bread and butter throughout the year. Treat your very loyal customers (which I am) and not just the summer time crowd, with a bit more courtesy. Julia Allan”
“Selection is amazing ... Freshness of everything is wonderful... $$$$ in many things ... 2 beautiful veal chops $73!! .. got them anyway but very pricey on most items”
“Very nice old style general store with a very good selection of ready to eat desserts. Fresh homemade breads, the oatmeal bread is wonderful. The store also has some hardware aisles with hard to find products.”

Canaan“Wonderful little shop, all on the honor system so bring a variety of bills. They also have a venmo option. Fruits, vegetables, honey and more. Love to support small local businesses as well as eat local!”
“Good service, ample choices. Fish selection is very nice.Still providing quality and good value.I'm using Big Y Express checkout. It's great, skip the line.”
“My family and I have been shopping here for 50 years. The sandwiches are great and the cheeses are excellent. There is a large collection of wines over a wide price range. There is a good selection of jams and hard to find condiments. The owners and the staff are very nice. It has an old-time feel and I like the fact that it has been family-run for over 100 years.”

760 S Main St, Great Barrington“I love this place. I don't live in the area but every time I'm here, I make a trip into this magical little store. The bakery, and all its wonderful offerings, are to die for. The cheese department is out of this world and quite frankly, dangerous. I don't even try to control myself. I love wandering the aisles and just grabbing random, interesting items. There are wonderful local items in their freezer meat and dairy case; I've had some of the best raw scallops of my life from their fish department. Their prepared foods are high quality and they even have a great little kitchen supply store. Every person I've ever spoken to there is kind and helpful. If I ever move up here, this store will be one of the major reasons why. It's every food lovers dream.”

1 Dan Fox Dr, Pittsfield“Bill Haddad and the associates in the pharmacy get the award for being the most helpful, courteous, professional group ever. They have always gone the extra mile to help me, and to make my visits pleasant. They deserve 10 gold stars! At least 10.”
“I went there for first time about 6 weeks ago! It was a rainy Sunday and I was just looking for something to do. I just loved the flower shop there and ended up getting two plants and the great staff helped me pick out a vase. I just had a baby bloom in one of the plants and she gave me care instructions ! Look forward to future visits ! Definitely not like a regular grocery store !”

“A great little store for the most part - a bit overpriced, but not egregiously so. They have a good selection of dry goods, frozen dinners, produce, etc. and the staff are always quite friendly and helpful. They also host some great community events. It loses some points because it's not actually a co-op in the traditional sense - it's owned by anyone in the community who can pay enough to become an "owner," not by the employees. Also, the cafe and hot bar are ludicrously overpriced and chronically understaffed, and lately the hours have been unpredictable. From what I understand the "owners" have decided that the cafe should be run by one or two people max, leading to long wait times and poor service. The staff are fantastic, but these days I mostly stick to their great selection of premade foods in the cooler.”

1 Dan Fox Dr, Pittsfield“It's a OK location though not much residential nearby so you'd have to drive. It's near Hilton garden Inn but Guidos Fresh Market is closer. cleanliness is decent, people are friendly and willing to help. The prices I feel are ok but discounts not as good as the local Big Y so that's the reason for my rating.”

495 Pittsfield Rd, Lenox“Just like Guidos but 50% less expensive! Well I’m exaggerating however… prices are lower, aisles are wider, hours are more convenient, parking is never a problem.”
“The cheese selections are fantastic. They have quite the assortment of hard and soft cheeses from around the world. They also have different kinds of hams and prosciutto and sausages and meats, including some smoked salmon and other delicacies. They have an extensive selection of jams, jellies, hot sauces, wines, bread, candies, and frozen delicacies, such as ice cream, and refrigerated meats. Their products are of high-quality and worth the price .the staff were very helpful and helped with questions I had and some cheese choices.we purchased some Swiss cheese, prosciutto ham from Italy and smoked salmon. They were delicious.thanks!”
“We went to Tiffany’s our first night in Stockbridge, footsore and exhausted, expecting a little hole in the wall where we could get acceptable food that wasn’t horrifyingly expensive. What we found was a cute little establishment with outdoor seating and amazing food (that wasn’t horrifyingly expensive). Over the next few days, we’d ask, “Want to get a $50 dinner at the Red Lion Inn?” and always found ourselves saying, “Nah, let’s just go back to Tiffany’s.”Everything we got there was delicious, they competently handled a dairy allergy, and were happy to make changes upon request. Service was prompt and friendly, the cooked food was great and the vegetables fresh, and the outdoor seating is surprisingly pleasant for a few tables in front of the restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: They were good about dairy/cow dairy, and there were also notes about gluten free on the menu.”
