Tom and Matt are amazing! Could not recommend the shop and staff enough. Infinitely more welcoming and friendly than many shops. From my first visit, Tom and Matt have been extremely helpful and honest with both buying and selling coins. Worth the extra 20 minute drive when there are closer shops! Highly recommend checking out Sterling Rare Coin for your numismatic needs!

Had a great experience taking some scrap gold and coins to Sterling Rare Coin. The owner took his time to answer every question I had and even gave some advice on where to sell a few pieces of jewelry I had.I was very pleased with his offer and appreciated him staying open a little later to talk. Overall it’s a great shop with great customer service. I’d highly recommend trusting them to give you a fair price!

Matt the shop owner is very knowledgeable on coins and their history. He even gave me helpful advice that was printed to identify valuable coins. I also had jewelry with me which he buys and gives a very fair price on. Matt is very passionate about his shop and his work. It was an extremally pleasant experience. If you are looking to sell coins or jewelry this is certainly the place to go.

Found this location online and was immediately impressed with its looks. We had some silver dollars that were just sitting in a drawer and wondered their worth. I made an appointment (recommended) and Tom, the owner welcomed us. Within minutes he had looked over the coins and gave an estimate to which we were pleasantly surprised. His presentation was ‘no pressure’ to make a decision right then and there which we appreciated. He interspersed a little history when going over what coins we had and indicated that none of them were sought after by collectors; ours would be valued solely by silver content. The entire experience was indeed one of professionalism, he showed much knowledge and expertise thus gaining our trust. In addition, his shop was clean neat and tidy; a further merit to his vocation. I would not hesitate to use his services again and recommend this business wholeheartedly!

I went in to sell some constitutional silver. Team was friendly and honest. The offer I received for my silver at sterling rare coins was 2X that of the previous store I visited. Matt discussed all the key dates for me before I entered the shop so I was more informed with what I had. I felt confident selling my coins at a fair value. I would shop here again.

I would highly recommend Sterling rare coins. Matt was absolutely amazing & it was truly an educational experience! I was nervous to get my items appraised because I was scared of getting ripped off. However that wasn’t the case whatsoever. Matt took the time to discuss every piece I had. As well as answering any questions I had. Five stars from start till end.
