Smith and Son Jewelers Springfield, MAI'm not the best person to ask about this store. But I guess my experience there has been something that they would want people to know about. Years ago my mother had done business with them when we lived in Forest Park and from time to time we used them for small simple jewelry for my wife. When I got married we had our diamond ring done there. When I lost weight I had my wedding ring re-sized. I'm totally ignorant of all things jewelry and they know that but still they don't talk down to you there. Recently, and this has been happening a lot lately, my watch battery died. I live in Chicopee, and I'm sure there are jewelers around Chicopee that could help me with this issue. But Smith and Sons' price is right and I just trust them and often times they drop everything and do it right then and there. This most recent time I was in the area and I parked at WONG WOK hoping they wouldn't tow my car. I went in, usually the guy in the wheelchair helps me but this time is an older man. He immediately started grabbing his tools. Then I told a joke without even thinking about it asking if I could watch him change my watch battery. We all laughed and he said, "I wouldn't be out here if I didn't want you to watch!" We chatted about the new lithium battery packets and how difficult they are to open for him and an assistant helped him out. Then with his tiny magnifying glass he popped the watch back open and boom badabing it was over. I paid the cheap bill and walked out knowing for the next couple months I didn't need to look at my phone anymore for the time. I could just raise my wrist. Thanks Smith and Son Jewelers!

Very pleasant place on Sumner Ave in Springfield. My wife and I brought 2 rings to be resized. The people inside were very nice and attentive. I will update the review when we get the rings back.

The Enfield location was great! Thanks to Tom for being so helpful. He quickly removed two links from my watch, and added bumps to my wife's ring. Definitely recommend

When picking up some of my jewelry that needed small repairs, I decided to have my wedding ring looked at. We found 75% of my prongs were compromised!! Smith & Sons rebuilt my wedding rings and they are absolutely beautiful… it brought tears to my eyes!! I will recommend this jewelry shop to anyone! Such kind, genuine staff members.

The best of the best. Unfortunately, I brought my Swiss watch to another Jeweler first, who installed a stale battery, and mis-installed the bracelet. I visited Smith and Son's where I should have gone in the first place, and they installed a fresh battery, and repaired the bracelet for as low nomimal fee. While I waited.

He truly is a magician.Everything about my multiple experiences was A++. Customer service, pricing, design, communication, and especially his craftsmanship is top tier.Andrew designed my first engagement ring around 2010.I returned to him again fromout of state to redesign and refresh our first rings' look he had designed. A completely new design with many new diamonds.I was able to trade in and then upgrade Andrew's original custom ring from over 10+ years prior and provide my wife something different and special at our 10-year anniversary mark.I actually worked with Andrew from Maryland on my revisited experience and he made the process easy and convenient without ever having to step foot back in his Massachusetts stores.I vouch for everyone looking to get service done with my honest and utmost approval and trust in Andrew Smith service and craftsmanship.
