I absolutely cannot recommend Sears Real Estate. Last year, we listed our home with one of their agents. We received 16 offers and the agent recommended which offer to go with because it had a high deposit and was "as is." She said that we would keep this deposit if the buyer backed out, but because it was a high deposit, it was unlikely they would. A week later, the buyer did back out and kept their deposit. Confused, we asked our agent why they were able to do this and she told us about a clause in that contract that she hadn't previously informed us about. We went under contract with another buyer and the same situation happened again. Now frustrated with the situation, we met with our agent to discuss how to avoid this happening again. I want to note that never did my husband or I raise our voices at her or blame her for these offers falling through. We simply pressed her for answers and guidance moving forward. Instead of giving us answers, she yelled at my husband in our own home saying "I don't need to put up with this. I do real estate part-time for fun and this isn't fun anymore. I don't need this commission. You should go find a new realtor." She stated that she would pass on our remaining offers to a new agent and stormed out. Later that day, she texted us to apologize for her behavior and offered to still represent us. We said we thought it was for the best if we worked with someone else. At this point, she said she would not longer be forwarding those existing offers to a new agent and then took two days to sign the appropriate paperwork so that we could sign with a new listing agent.We trusted this agent to guide us in selling our first home. When the process didn't go as smoothly as she'd expected, she quit. When we finally sold our home 2.5 months later, she still had not returned to retrieve her listing sign or lock box.Your home is your biggest financial asset. I highly recommend going with someone who takes their job as a realtor seriously and isn't just doing it "for fun."

Mary Sainato of Sears Real Estate is an expert at her job. she is professional and knowledgeable. I would highly suggest giving her a try because she will help you and she will be there. I used a VA loan and she helped it go through smoothly as a conventional loan. There were no snags, no extra waiting time, and I believed with her expertise she got the loan processed without a hitch. if I could I would give her give 10 Stars. Great work! Kudos to Dot Lortie... wonderful.

I had a great experience with Anthony and Jim. We got our house in Worcester sold in under two weeks for a great price. When it came to buying our house Anthony was there every step of the way. He was always available to answer calls and questions and managed to keep the experience positive even after getting multiple offers rejected. Eventually we found our home and couldn't be more happy.

Excellent experience. I was looking to buy a house and the homeowner decided to keep the deposit after the house failed inspection. Sears real estate agent managed the situation while I continue my search; in a week, I had my money back and no stress. Sears real estate agent connected me with the resources I needed to make an excellent deal and success. I am a happy homeowner and will continue working with this agent for future business.
