Not professional. Make appointments and don't keep them. I hope they are not being paid with our tax dollars because if they are we are getting ripped off!

They came to my home, but I was not there, they grilled my wife about where I was, and what was I doing. I called and made an appointment to meet them, but when I called to confirm they had no idea what I was talking about. I made another appointment, I called and confirmed, so I walked to the meeting place. I waited 15 minutes and called, it seemed they were running late, but they'd be there. I waited another 20 minutes, it was 88 degrees, and I was in the sun. So I left. I called to complain, no word back. I then called to make a telephone appointment, when 15 minutes had passed I called the woman whom I had made the appointment with, and she had no idea what I was talking about. So they don't seem to be very competent.

So if you need the services this is what you have to watch for. Some of the departments are alright to work with while others are not. There is a good chance that depending on the person you have to deal with that they are going to being rude, not answer any of your questions and not address any issue. If you look up this agency on indeed you can get a better picture of what's going on behind the scenes of this organization. Now if an issue does arise it will not be addressed and the response you will get is to go to a different agency regardless if there is one or not. So while there is some useful aspects to this agency I wouldn't lean on them for very much assistance.* Updating this since I got a response, There is no point in reaching out to them. Here is a brief list of some of the excuses you receive when you attempt to sort out an issue:I'm sorry but we do not have enough people on staff to address your current situationIf you are unhappy with the service you can go to a different agency (no you actually can't they are the only option)I have been with this company X amount of years and despite what the paper work you are holding says you are wrongand the list keeps going on. My faith in the ability of this company is almost gone after a year of these kind of excuses.

I found them to be completely unhelpful after using advanced home care. My last home worker was to pack my food and go through the dates and I just did it and I found food back to 2018 and 2020 so when my original talk with GSS about homemakers from advanced they did warn me about the lack of service and I would get what I could get because of covid and they're overstaffing of clients. Went to complain never called me back. I don't care anymore they have some standard workers except for one and I apologize to her greatly

If you or your family members are in need of service I highly recommend the staff at greater Springfield senior service always pleasant and helpful they work hard to get you the right help you need in sometimes difficult situations

People are having issues with clients receiving care but getting more hours than they actually work. The people overlooking their clients need to be more concerned with the health care of the clients if they are hard of hearing etc. The persons that take care of the elderly need to understand that their clients have to work around their schedule for doctors appointments etc .. Someone needs to address the care of the elderly and not take advantage of the people.
