During the most difficult times in my life, Terry Mullins at Byron Keenan handled both of my parent's passing, 10 years ago for my Father and this month for my Mother. Terry tends to every detail that needs attention and guides you thru the process respectfully and with compassion. My family and I could not have made it thru these difficult times without him and his staff.

In a very difficult time for our family, Byron Keenan Funeral Home went above and beyond our expectations to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible throughout the entire grieving process. From the day we first reached out to them, they were sympathetic, compassionate and understanding. Their professionalism and expertise in their field is top tier. Sue and Shannon were always readily available to clear up any of our concerns and were extremely knowledgeable. They returned calls immediately, answered all of our questions, gave suggestions, and graciously helped with preparations through every step to make our experience a positive one. Having Terry as our Funeral Director was an absolute blessing. He did an amazing job of making certain the entire wake and funeral ceremony were unique to our family’s needs. We send tremendous thanks and gratitude to the entire Byron Keenan staff for their kindness, comfort and guidance in a time when we were so overwhelmed with grief. We highly recommend their services.

My mother passed away suddenly in February. Suzanne, Terry, and the entire Byron Keenan staff were professional and compassionate during a very difficult time for my family.
We had originally planned to hold the services at another "well-known" funeral home in the area but were extremely disappointed in the timeliness of their communications and their unwillingness to share, up front, that our desired timing for services were not available during our initial conversations. It was only after several conversations were we told we needed to consider nonsensical wake times.
After one call with the Byron Keenan team, we had the service times set, the transportation of my mother from Boston to Springfield arranged, and many other fine details completed.
I can't thank Byron Keenan enough for all they did. Truly appreciated!

We have used Byron Keenan for two loved ones so far. 2 years ago for my Mom and most recently for my brother who passed away this month. On both occasions we worked with Terry Mullins.
We have been extremely happy with how both were handled by Terry. My mom's was a traditional event with a day of visitation and then the funeral and burial. All was handle exquisitely by
Terry and the staff. We were really put at ease at a tough time.
Most recently my brother passed unexpectedly. He was found by a friend of his. I made one call to Terry at Byron Keenan to tell him of the discovered death and very quickly they arrived to pick up my brother and bring him back to the funeral home. This was a different handling this time in that my brother was cremated with a visitation and prayer service. My brother was a NY Giants fan and Terry took care of having memorabilia there at the visitation/service. It was a pleasant surprise that he offered to do that and not something we expected.
Of course if we have another reason to use them in the future, although it won't be a happy occasion, we will call Byron Keenan first.

I would like to thank everyone at Byron and Keenan funeral home for taking such great care of my father in law, Norberto.
Sue and her staff did such a beautiful job in coordinating all the details of the calling hours, mass, and veteran tribute for my father ... Your attentiveness to our needs, and care in all of the details of our final goodbye will not be forgotten.. Thank you again a million times!

When my father passed away recently we used Byron Keenan Funeral Home for his services and we could not have been happier with our experience. Terry was our funeral director and he made an overwhelming process very manageable. He was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and took care of all the details with ease. In fact, all of the staff were very respectful and helpful. I highly recommend them.

I’ve never left a review for anything in my life so please bear with me. My brother and I used Byron Keenan Funeral Home after our mother, Manuela, passed away at 53 years old. Sue Keenan was so incredibly kind and helpful. Between adjusting prices for us, editing my mom’s obituary after it had been finalized, making memorial cards for us, etc. They even had the most well behaved and adorable doodle puppy that we asked to hang out with while we went over paperwork. I called every funeral home / crematory in the area, we decided to go with Sue, and would again.

My family has been using Byron Keenan for many years. Unfortunately we are in need of their services again . My mom recently passed away and I called them immediately. They have always taken such good care of us. I feel like they are my extended family. If I need anything they take care of it. Always go above and beyond. Sue and her staff treated us like family. They helped us and thought of the things we didn't. While reviewing and going over funeral arrangements Sue's puppy came walking in giving me all the loving I needed more than ever at that time. My Mom loved dogs too. Very comforting. They have always taken care of us. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Thank you from the bottom of my heat. The Krokenberger Famly.

We had a great experience with Byron Keenan. Terry was very helpful and made the process of burying my father in law easier on all of us. This was no easy task as my father in law passed in Florida but was buried in Massachusetts. Terry took care of every need we had and went above and beyond his job requirements. Everyone at Byron Keenan was caring and compassionate.

Caring, professional and compassionate are three words I would use to describe those who work at Byron Keenan. Planning services after the death of a loved one is not an easy process. We were treated as if we were family. Planning was made simple. We were given time to personalize our service, they coordinated everything with our church and the cemetery.A difficult time was made less difficult.

My dad passed away after 6 months of fighting infections. At 99 years old, he had enough of hospitals and decided on hospice. We chose a small service at Byron Keenan and the gravesite, for just the immediate family. Terry Mullins was so helpful putting it together, even researching dad's military history and arranging for TAPS and a flag folding ceremony. The posting on their website was perfect, with his photos and Frank Sinatra singing, and the notecards were beautiful. Thank you, Terry and Byron Keenan staff. Your concern during our difficult time was much appreciated.
