We purchased vinyl plank flooring from Home Depot who contracted with ACS to perform the work. They did an amazing job. Both Juan and Edison were hard working, friendly, and very professional. We are very happy with the work they did. ACS made sure every detail was addressed before finalizing the job. I highly recommend this company.

I would give zero stars if I could. This company is an absolute joke. If you are using them through the Home Depot, do yourself a favor and get your money back now before you have them come into your home. First they refused to install my bamboo trim because it was "too hard to work with." Why did you sell it to me if you couldn't install it? Then after I purchased new trim they installed half of it and left my house with the job unfinished. The trim they did install was uneven and didn't sit flush at the corners. I could have done a better job on my own, knowing absolutely nothing about woodworking. That day they were supposed to come between 1 and 4, they showed up at my house at 7:30 in the morning. Then when they were supposed to come a third time to fix the job they did and install the rest of the trim, they just forgot? The installers went to a different job and said they'd come later in the day, and by four in the afternoon admitted they were in another state and wouldn't be coming. They were supposed to come between eight and twelve. I asked for a refund, and was told that the trim installation is "complimentary" and they couldn't give me any money back for it. Complimentary, you know, like tires on a car are complimentary.

Had a wonderful experience with this team. Their technicians were fast, friendly and helpful and left the place spotless. And their phone staff were very accommodating when I had to switch install days last minute. Would highly recommend for any carpet work!

Well, it seems like this company may be hit or miss depending on who comes out to do your install. We had a couple guys come out the first time to install a carpet in the basement and right off the bat I could tell they were in a rush and didn't care about the quality of work they were doing. It also doesn't help when I see a beer can they brought in sitting in the middle of the floor . They were very rough with the walls and corners but thankfully Home Depot did send me a $50 gift card for the repairs I had to make. The second part was a carpet runner installed on our upper stairs. This guy was right on time, very nice, efficient and could tell he cared about my house and not making a mess. So I gave 3 stars to balance out my experience, one star for the first job and 5 stars for the second job.

The first mistake was purchasing the carpet from Home Depot and not knowing they used American Carpet South as installers! I purchased the carpet from Home Depot in Somerville, MA. I will say the people at Home Depot were not the issue. They were very helpful. Unfortunately due to the issues we will never use Home Depot again for carpet. We purchased the carpet on October 21st. The first of 2 appointment was on November 12th. At that time we were told the time they would arrive would be between 7 and 11 am. After getting up at 6am to make sure we were ready when they arrived a call at 7:20 saying they did not have to come because they did not need to make a template for the binding and that they could do it all at the second appointment. Thought this seemed strange but was told there was no need to hang around and wait for them. The next appointment was November 18th. Received notification they would be here between 3 and 7 pm. This did not work out for us so we called and was assured by "Cathy" they would be there between 7 and 11am. We agreed to this. After once again getting up at 6am to be ready we waited and waited finally feeling like something was not right we called and were informed our delivery was between 2 and 6!!!! Not even a phone call was made to inform us of this. We spoke to a manager who we asked about having the binding done at the same time and he said he was not sure!!! REALLY?? Why wouldn't he know that??? We were told some of the installers can do it and some cannot. Guess we the cutomer had to take our chances!!! We had to cancel a previous appointment in order to be home. ONCE AGAIN! We received a call after 5:30 and was told they were still working on another job and had to finish that before the at least 45 minute ride to our home. At this point we were done and told them not to come. This was not what we signed up for. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not use American Carpet South. So unprofessional. Not worth the aggravation! We were very excited about doing something nice in our home.

They were sub contracted out of Home Depot. I would 100% recommend going anywhere else. They caused over $500 worth of damage and then jerked me off for 4 months to pay for damages. Pitiful would describe the services I received.

They caused $500 worth of damage to my house. It took 3 months to finally get payment and that’s only because I filed a demand letter stating I was willing to file a claim in small claims court. I would strongly advise hiring anyone else.

I had ACS as a subcontractor through Home. Depot in Westfield. I was called the night prior and was left a voicemail staying they would be over the following morning between 8 a.m. and noon. At 7:51 a.m. that morning I was called and told they would not be arriving because they did not have the carpet. After a little while deliberation with Home Depot and ACS I was rescheduled for a Saturday morning and they were told they needed to be there for 8 a.m. because I needed to leave for work at noon. I called at 8:30 in the morning since I had not received a phone call the prior night to confirm their arrival I was told good news they have left the warehouse. When I informed the lady on the other end of the phone that they were supposed to be in my driveway at 8 a.m. she said oh hold on let me find out their whereabouts she then told me they would be in between 9:15 and 9:30. 10 a.m. rolls around and they still did not show I had to reschedule for the following Wednesday at 8 a.m. which was confirmed by the installation manager her name was Jean. Again they didn't show up at 8 a.m. they didn't show until 9 a.m. and did not leave until 12:45 when I needed to leave by noon for work. ACS is a terrible company to have do work for you they claim that their motto is 100% customer satisfaction and will do anything to make that happen including meeting a tight deadline. After 2 no shows and terrible communications would that company and they would not take the old carpeting due to pet smell even with two no-shows I will make sure and from here on out if Home Depot is to have things installed at my house again ACS is not allowed on my property I suggest you don't let them on yours.UPDATE- they forgot to install the transition strips so they have to come back to install them, also I noticed some damage to sheet rock and an area where no tack strip was put down.

Pitiful. That is how I would sum up their customer service. They caused over $500 worth of damage to my house while installing carpet. Save yourself the time. Find someone qualified to do your house work.

If I can give this company 0 points I would. This Flooring Company is hired by Home Depot to install flooring. Also known ACS. I bought laminate flooring to be installed in my living room from Home Depot. After their installer's ripped up all my carpet and padding, they found out that my floor had dips in it and the flooring couldn't be installed. The installer's destroyed 3 of my bedroom carpets which face the living room. They cut back my bedroom carpets into the bedrooms. I had signs on the bedroom door's saying DO NOT open bedroom doors. Because the installers didn't speak English, I guess they don't know how to read English. DO NOT OPEN BEDROOM DOORS. I have 3 cats and each one of the cats were placed in the 3 bedrooms. I didn't want them to escape out the front door from all the noise. They could have easily cut the carpet in the living from the outside of the bedroom doors. Instead they opened the 3 bedroom doors and cut all 3 of my bedroom carpets into the bedroom. 2 of my bedroom thresholds are 5 3/4" of a inch. The other bedroom threshold is 7". They cut more than 3 inches off my 3 bedroom carpets. You can see the cut carpet inside of my 3 bedrooms doors. Those carpets are now fraying because their installer's never put the transitions pieces back in place after they cut my carpet. They destroyed one of my baseboard air conditioning heater unit's in the living room by denting it. The heater is half on the wall and half on the floor, they never bothered to put the screw's back into the heater's so they are hanging loose from the floor. They also damaged a piece of my wood work by my fire place, which now has a chip in it. My kitchen and bathroom has vinyl flooring. The installers did not put back the transitions pieces so now the vinyl is up lifting off the floor. Tripped on the kitchen vinyl one day and fell on the floor at 65 years old I do not need any broken bones. Called Homey Depot and sent them pictures. No response, Called ASC (American Carpet South) and was asked to send pictures which I did, no response from them either. Emailed ASC in NJ which is their corporate office and no response from them.

These guys are awesome! Communicated throughout the whole process. I always knew what to expect. I love the carpet! Great price! The installation team was polite and professional. I found these guys through Home Depot in Ranson WV. I'm sooo happy with my experience from Home Depot and American Carpet South!!
