Only discovered the store today and I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of product depth. I was planning a quick in and out but all the choices had me stopping and reading to make a decision. Friendly staff inquired if I needed any assistance. It's good to patronize a local small business.

I try to support small business's as i own one but definitely wont be supporting these people.I went down to pick up a 12 foot 6x6. I asked them to cut it down to two 6x6x6 their policy is all wood is to be purchased then cut. The long haired kid refused to cut down the 6x6 because it "wont go through the saw" lol so whatever i drove back up to my house picked up my saw, then he proceeded to say, you cant cut the 6x6 here. Then watched me load it by myself. I guess thats why people go to home depot. Their prices are absolutely insane even compared to another hardware store. Such a shame this place has gone down hill

I love supporting small businesses but the customer service here has been rough to say the least. The only way you can really compete with big box stores nowadays is with great customer service and they lack it

Called about getting a electrical part was informed I have to go to west springfield.... walked in and found the part they have no idea what they are doing get people in here that know what to do and how to help customers. And lastly the rudest lady I have ever met in my life

I was purchasing grass seed from this store on October 1, 2022. I suddenough heard a man screaming at the top of his lungs using very foul language. I wasn't sure what what was going on. It sounded like a violent altercation was about to occur. I walked around the corner to discover an older man (who I learned on my way out the door was the manager) screaming at a young employee using extraordinarily abusive and inappropriate language. I've never seen anything like it. I looked at the man and asked him what was wrong with him such that he would carry on like that - especially in front of customers. He neither apologized nor looked me in the eye. I dropped my bag of seed and walked out. it was the worst experience I've had in a retail store in decades and will never go back.

I went to IBS about 6 weeks ago to buy epoxy it was 2 part in the syringe's but when I got it home 1 side was dried out, so I brought it back. The young man behind the register apologized and said go get a new one, very polite. the second one was dried out also, so I brought it back. the woman behind the register had an attitude, grabbing it out of my hand, and when I told her it was dry she told me with a real attitude " I can see that" which you can't because it was black. So with out asking what I want to do she gave me my money back, almost throwing it. Now I have had problems with her for a long time, and she always had an attitude. Since I go past Ace hardware frequently, I will be buying there from now on. But the rest of the staff has been good.

The outdoor service is good ! Cashiers are rude and act like you should be serving them ! I really hate going here !

female cashier was very rude and nasty. She should not be involved with customer service. Guy at the hardware was very helpful. She made my experience terrible.

Super high prices. Cedar clapboards are $3 /ft. I had to complete the repair on a Saturday so I paid 50 bucks for 16ft. I believe this place preys on guys like me.
