We stayed for couple nights for our friend's wedding and a lot of us staying at Red Jacket and other. I got the ocean front room, got a nice view, however it's definitely dated and need update. Feel so old and feel like a motel. The bed make noise everytime you turn or move. The faucet in the bathroom was loose, things around the room very old. I'm worried about the clean of the sheet, bed, etc. Definitely not going to come back. Maybe if they will spend money to update their room, we may.

Room needed a lot of work. Bathroom ceiling was a mess and floor slopped towards the tub and my wife almost fell backwards. The fawcetts in tub and sink were extremely difficult to pull to turn on. Were not aware that our rooms would not be cleaned each day until we arrived. Person above us had obvious issues. Spent 2 nights walking back and forth across their room and this was very disruptive. Not worth the money we paid.

What a wonderful view. We stayed directly on the beach. Just listening to the waves crashing was so relax. Our room was immaculate. The restaurant was very nice. Standard fare for breakfast.Nearby activities: This hotel was centrally located and close to all the attractions and restaurants. They have 3 restaurants on their own property also.

This was our 10th visit to the Riviera Beach Resort. We love it so much! We always request an Ocean Front room in the 259-263 block. We spend a ton of time out on our private balcony enjoying the ocean. We sleep with the sliding door open to hear the waves and smell the salt air all night. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. It’s our “home away from home!”

The room was a great size and had a porch on the rear. Great for sitting and enjoying the view. It was a few steps from the indoor and outside pool. You could also see the ocean. The indoor pool was a good size and there was a hot tub also. The problem was the hot tub needed to be cleaned. Muck on the top and sand on the floor and no towels. The room service only replaced the bathroom towels and emptied the trashcan. There was also a restaurant that we used at breakfast. The buffet was good and replenish constantly. The workers were very helpful and quick.Rooms: Good size rooms and nice beds. Bathroom adequate.Nearby activities: Nothing in walking distance. Every activity required transportationWalkability: Nothing in walking distance to see but the beach was good. Nice stretch of beach front.Seaweed needed to be removed.Food & drinks: Only ate breakfast there and the food was prepared well. Breakfast included eggs, French toast, bacon, potatoes, fruit, muffins.

Checking in is annoying if you're staying at the Riviera. We get to the location and a sign greets you saying you have to check in at the Blue Water resort. It's right next door. When you walk in there's a little desk in the corner to check in for the Riviera. Then a big check in desk for the Blue Water. We waited in line for a good 15-20 min. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got a 2nd floor room with an ocean and pool view. The worst part was hauling your luggage up the stairs. They don't have an elevator. We knew this before booking. The staff did ask if we wanted a bell boy. The house keeping was great. Very clean. They do take pride in their landscape. Very pretty flowers everywhere. I really liked how you can go between the resorts and use the amenities. In Johnas bar the bartender is Milia and she was wonderful. We enjoyed being right in the ocean. Loved the different pools. Very nice place!Nearby activities: Ocean front

Let me start by saying we have been coming here for almost 20 years. I really want to say we enjoyed our experience and much as we usually do, we did not… from what I understand there is a new owner. It is clearly obvious they are fee happy. The new resort fee, destination fee, parking fees. Add hundreds into your bill (6night stay) they never had parking fees for your primary car before, only for multiple cars. 25 for primary and 50 for secondary/night can add $$ to your bill. For what your paying per night I expect my room to be cleaned. Basically they do what is called ‘tidy’ the room which involves them to empty the trash , give you clean towels and toiletries. Again this is a service that was previously provided but no longer provided. We looked into booking for next summer , the price is over 1000 more than this year for the same time frame. We love the location but the services have declined and the prices have jumped so much. We will most likely explore other options for next year. :(

We’ve been going to riviera beach resort for the past 7 years. This year will unfortunately be our last. Ice machine by our room did not work, splash pad for kids was broken, beach was dirty, house keeping never came to remove garbage, we weren’t allowed breakfast, towels were rarely ever available, beach bar was not open, rooms were run down, sprinkler head was broken and flooding the grounds (for 3 days in a row). It was slowly getting worse over the years but this year put us over the top. The good: convenience to the beach is very nice, once I spoke the the manager he was very apologetic and helped offset some of our costs. The bad unfortunately outweighs the good now so for the first time in 8 years we’ll be looking for somewhere else to go.

I wish I can give zero star. I booked the resort and 3days prior my son got sick and I had to cancel the booking 2 days prior to our trip. They charges me $432 penalty and refused to give me the full refund. It’s a rip off! Stay away from this place

We stayed in one of the suites and it was perfect for three adults and two young children. The suite was a little outdated but VERY clean. The grounds were gorgeous, and pools/beach were very clean. This resort is extremely kid friendly. If you want a quiet/child free vacation, then this resort probably isn't for you. The waterfall mushroom was broken in the pool which was a bummer, and the swings on the beach were broken as well. Our suite kitchen was supposed to be fully stocked but was missing paper towels. Took a couple hours for someone to bring us up some. Also, towels are provided for the beach/pool, but weren't always available so we'd just wait for a fresh laundered batch to come out. I gave only 3 stars for service because it definitely feels like that are short staffed. Also on the beach sometimes it would take a while to find someone to put up an umbrella up for you, but they'd show up eventually. All in all, the not so perfect service didn't phase me because my kids and parents had such a great time. I will be booking again for future vacations.

We came to this place with wife and kid for few days. First off, the hotel is not really hotel. It’s closer to a motel rather than a hotel. Our room was very very very outdated. We ended up paying about $550 with resort fee + parking + room fee!! That’s a lot for the shape of the hotel. The AC had mold all over the inside vents and we did not see it the first day but we started getting itching eyes and sick and we noticed it later.Location is perfect. The service from maintenance and housekeepers is amazing! Some of the best people and very hard working. However, I will never come back again to this location. It’s not worth the money … might as well spend couple thousands more and head over to FL or Aruba or Turks and Caicos or elsewhere where you can truly enjoy the water and the vacation.

First, this is not a “resort”. More accurately, its your average motel with great access to the beach. The room had a musty smell, was dark, and very outdated and worn. The bathroom was tiny with mildew throughout the shower. The hotel shows pictures of its beach with things to do…none of these were available and even the swings were broken with no attempt to fix while we were there. For $500/night we really expected more.

Typically a great place that we've been to annually as a family for 10+ years, but at just about $500/nt there were too many issues to ignore. Our room wasn't ready at check-in time, we were given breakfast vouchers as an apology, we were then billed for that breakfast the next day when we used the vouchers. We were billed incorrectly for the stay, the mushroom water feature wasn't working, a ladder was snapped off and sharp metal was left in its place. There were numerous times when there were no towels available anywhere. Not sure what was going on.

This is rated at a hotel resort price and makes you pay that fee but is seriously beneath that. They dont clean the rooms, they make you pay overnight to park your car, they advertise swings on the beach and they are taken down, the splash pad thing does not work that is shown in the picture, there are never pool towels available, the bathroom stinks like mildew as does the carpet, and it is shocking they can keep in business. The only way is that it is oceanfront. They also rarely have an attendant there to put up umbrellas, they have trash all over the beach and it is not cleaned.
