“We brought our very ill and distressed 5 month old puppy to the VCA. We were terrified, but she was evaluated immediately and a treatment plan was communicated to us by Dr. Lopes within 30 minutes of our arrival. The vet and all staff (techs/nurses, liaison, front desk) treated us and our Mabel with such kindness and compassion. We felt like they truly cared. Mabel was admitted overnight and treated for ingestion of a toxin. During her hospital stay, we were able to visit her and we received regular updates on her condition. After she had been discharged, they followed up the next day to ask how she was doing. We are grateful to have access to this level of care in our south shore community.”
“The front desk staff, the vet tech, and the vet were friendly and kind. When I called to book the initial appointment, whoever I talked to at the front desk specifically scheduled me with a vet who is great with cats and the appointment was only a couple of weeks out. The whole facility is clean, bright, and cheery. The vet and vet tech were wonderful with my very nervous cats. They gave a lot of great tips, were nonjudgemental, and any treatments were very well explained and I was not pushed to do anything right away. Would highly recommend!”
“My partner and I brought our cat in for an ear infection visit yesterday after never having been in, and we will absolutely be returning as regulars. The entire team was so friendly and knowledgeable. Special shoutout to Michaela - they were so funny and made us feel immediately at ease. Owner and exceptional veterinarian Dr. Susan Harrington is a wonderful and inclusive minded person. She truly loves animal and holds herself and her staff to the highest standards in caring for them.
Staff like her is outstanding- knowledgeable, well trained, hardworking and efficient- always available to answer calls, and emails, providing information promptly and answering all questions with great thought and consideration.
When visiting, I am confident my beloved canine companion is receiving the best vital health care possible. There is no one I would trust more with my pets needs than RAH.”

“Bonnie (and Erin) came to examine my 12 year old 120# Yellow Lab Cooper yesterday. I can't say enough good things about their service. Bonnie was recommended by Cooper's former Vet due to the fact it's very difficult and stressful to Coop to get him in the car for a visit to the Vet's office. The exam was very thorough and I felt as if they were caring for their own pet. They cleaned his ears, checked him from head to toe and gave me some solution to help with a growth on his back. Great service and very nice folks!”
“Very companionable. I had to put my dog down. Hind legs were so we had to pick her up not to pee herself.5 stars from me. 1/2 the price Floyde Harbor wanted to charge me. “Amazing!!! My 3 YO pup had bloody stool on a Saturday after being "off" all week
my primary vet couldn't see him and recommended we not wait until Monday.
They recommended Veterinary Urgent Care. The office wasnt weren't open yet but I was able to make a same day appointment online. Super easy. They took my fur baby as soon as we arrived and they spent over 90 minutes with him. They were patient and thorough and even though he was uncomfortable and not happy with parts of the exam, they were very caring and professional and so loving with him. He's better today because of Dr. Holmes treatment,thank God. If he ever needs urgent care again, I WILL DEFINITELY go there again. Highly recommended.”
“Dr. McAdam and her team are absolutely top notch!! I have only been lucky enough to use her services once. When my mother's cat wasn't eating, we brought her to South Shore Animal Services as a second opinion after spending an extraordinary amount over multiple visits at another vet and coming to no resolution. Within minutes of the appointment, Dr. M identified a likely tumor in the cat's abdomen by touch (using her hands). X-rays confirmed the worst and our cat is now over the rainbow bridge.In this sensitive moment, Dr. M and team went above and beyond to comfort my elderly mother and make her cat as comfortable as possible in her last moments. This combination of endless compassion for both humans and animals involved combined with the knowledgeable, high quality care is not something to take for granted. I'm extremely grateful, thank you!”
“Brought my very needy and guarded dog Duncan for a training consultation and they set very clear expectations, made Duncan feel safe and clearly have plenty of experience dealing with difficult-through no fault of their own-dogs of all ages. The staff are friendly, helpful and understanding. My girl had her first ever dental cleaning and I was so scared to have her put under. The team was so communicative and kind. Dr Jewett(?) was so calm and reassuring. I felt so good about trusting them! Her teeth are like new! I like it here and more importantly, I think my doggy does, too(-:”

“Dr mertz is great. I've been bringing a variety of animals to him over the last 10+ years. And prices are amazing for the services. I need to call them soon actually to make an appointment for my tortoises to get their nails and beaks trimmed! I've brought chickens here as well.They do take wildlife for rehab. Call first and make sure you go to the correct door for wildlife. It's not the same as the regular vet section.You can also take a tour of the facility. I think it's like 5 for self guided and 10 for a guided one. I always learn something when I'm there”
“This is a great Veterinary Practice, Dr. Paulauski is an experienced, kind and compassionate vet. Dr. P and her team are always very friendly, professional and informative. I bring both my doggos here for routine checkups, emergencies and recently to get my dog neutered. It's a more affordable practice versus many others in the area. Thank you for always taking great care of Fover and Puca, I would not go anywhere else.”

“My family has been going to BAH for years with my childhood dog and now that i have animals of my own i started bringing them there too. I wish i could leave 10 stars for them, every single person that works in the office is so patient, understanding and compassionate. This past year has been a rollercoaster with my cats unexpected health problems and there has been a handful of emergency visits/after hour calls. They not only prioritize my cats health, but they always make sure i am okay with everything that goes on as well. I am moving in a couple weeks to North Carolina and i will say, parting ways with BAH will be the most difficult part of the move.”

My cat loves one of the techs here, too, and he's picky with who he trusts, so it makes me know he's in great hands.

“Wanted to take this time and share what a wonderful and amazing place come together animal clinic in Dorchester at 155 neponset avenue one of the best animal clinics I've ever visited this week I lost midnight my cat after 20 years the compassion that the staff showed me that they will live with me forever had to have my 20 year old cat midnight euthanize because of health issues the owner Jennifer and Susie and Dr TSA we're so amazing and helping me let go of my beloved cat I could never repay not only are they affordable but also caring and compassionate please if you have any issues with your beloved pets make sure you call and take them to come together animal clinic you will not be disappointed tell them George recommended this place I have witness more compassion in an animal clinic that I have this week what the help of come together”
