This was a quaint little motel. I'm glad we found it. The room was dated (but very clean and well kept) and a little musty, but when we turned on the air conditioning, it got rid of the smell.
The indoor pool is enormous and had a nice heated temperature, and the hot tub felt amazing. The guy at the front desk at check-in was very friendly. They had a game room in the basement of the lobby, which I guess had a pool table and games, but we didn't use it. They had coffee and tea available in the lobby also.
Would recommend.

We go every year and love this place. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are spacious and clean and indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor pools are very clean and well maintained . The only downfall is we never want to leave!!
Walkability: There is a restaurant to the left and one to the right. Both very good. Walk to both

we stay here a couple of times a year for the last 6 years. a great family owned and run motel, always very welcoming, comfortable and extremely clean.
We always look forward going back and staying, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Have stayed here many times. Staff is always pleasant, rooms clean, easy parking. Marconi Beach Entrance and bike path directly across the street. Great location and convenience to many other beaches, stores, and restaurants!

My family has stayed here a few times over the past several years and every time, our experience with the property and staff has been great.Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: There is so much to do and see on the Outer Cape and this place is centrally located.Noteworthy details: The staff always seem to be helpful with suggestions on things to do or places to see and courteous.

This is a great place to stay on the Outer Cape. The owners are very friendly, the grounds provide a grilling area, fire pit, playground, 2 pools. The location is perfect for getting to the many beaches of the National Seashore as well as area ponds. Room was spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

We've stayed here for years. College & Covid enforced a 5 year gap between stays. We just stayed the week of 9/17 - 9/23/23 and it was like coming home again! The location gives us access to the Orleans/Eastham area as well as a shorter ride to Provincetown. The place has always been immaculate, the pools (indoor/outdoor) are pristine. The rooms are always clean & snug. But most important the owners & staff are still as friendly and accommodating. Can't say enough about The Southfleet. We'll be back in the summer of 2024. Thanks for a great stay!

Always a wonderful stay at the Southfleet. An extremely personable staff and their personability carries over to visiting guests with whom I have had great aquantinces.
Great location, well kept and everything always works.
Nearby activities: As an open water swimmer and lover of the oceans I couldn't ask for a a better location to stay than what The Souhfleet has to offer. It is directly across from the magnificent surf of Marconi Beach which I believe is one of the favorite beaches for surfers on the cape but also close to the calmer waters of the bay beaches for beautiful sunsets and also fresh water kettle ponds

Fantastic place to stay in Wellfleet. Must eat breakfast as Van Renselliers. Clean rooms, great service and super pools -- Close to Marconi beach. Highly recommend...Noteworthy details: Great service & friendly people!
