“I love going to this place it reminds me of the hardware stores when I was a little kid back in the '70s hardwood floors the honor system and always a friendly attitude and a hello to you need any help when you walk in the front door I will say I do miss the sliding front doors but if that's the worst thing I have to say about the place then they're doing something right”
“Thanksgiving Weekend 2022...two friends and I were in Stoneham for the Greater Boston Stage Company's production of"Little Women, The Musical" and we had some time to kill since we had planned for possible bad traffic along the way. We ended up milling around the theater area to browse. Voilà Spartan Paint & Supply! The guys inside were very welcoming, personable, helpful, and kind and it was open and it was warm inside. We were not looking to buy anything, but all three of us ended up finding something that we needed and all made purchases. I skipped the complimentary fresh popcorn, but I did score a free calendar on the way out the door! Terrific store...so much variety...impressive collection of YETI products, too. Definitely worth the trip on its own. An awesome experience.”
“I had a wonderful experience working with Shawn and Tommy. I needed to replace a bulb in my microwave oven. After finding the appropriate part, both men were able to assemble and disassemble the outside, and insert the new part after some drilling and replacement of screws. But about a year ago when I needed some screws that would go into concrete, I was in the Falls and stopped into Menards "to save time". The customer service representative was eager please but had zero knowledge about what I was asking or where to find that type of screw. We wasted at least 20 minutes.So I left straight from there and came to Ace hardware in Firestone Park, and they knew exactly what I needed and suggested a drill bit that ended up being perfect for my needs.They have always been highly knowledgeable, helpful, and the prices are great.Don't waste your time anywhere else ?”

“This is a very nice hardware store, my mom always found them helpful too, but I don't get here often because it's on the other end of town and I have the other town hard ware store right down the street. But I had some errands nearby and took a walk over. Staff were very nice, I asked two/2 different people for help and they brought me over to where I need to look. No pressure, cashier was fast and friendly. Nice variety of merchandise. They are located at a busy intersection, and there is a town parking lot across the street and over a bit, but it's for all the merchants and fills up because of all the nearby restaurants. There is probably some side street parking but to note, some of the streets are quite narrow. #shoplocal #shopindie”

“I went into Richmond Hardware today to find some mechanical bolts and nuts to replace the broken ones on my collapsible camping chair. I was met by the manager/owner(?) who paged an employee to assist me in selecting the proper length and width of the bolts and nuts. Matt examined the broken piece and selected a proper replacement bolt for each of the broken pieces. I thought that I would be spending my afternoon with pliers and a wrench. But to my surprise, Matt attached the bolts and tightened the nuts. I definitely recommend Richmond Hardware for their courteous employees and expert service. Thank you.”
