“Took my car to Emerson Auto to have my brakes assessed after another auto shop told me I needed new brakes immediately. The other auto shop quoted me a lot of money without even measuring my brake pads. Emerson looked at my car, measured the brake pads, and said my brakes are totally fine, barely used/worn. Emerson does not take advantage of females. I am extremely happy with their service and will be taking my car back there in the future (as well as referring my friends)”
“Excellent auto service across the board. I lived near D&D Auto Service for years without ever realizing they were there. There's a sign on Dot Ave. for the shop but like many things in the Andrew Square area, you just don't pay attention to it. The hydraulic line on my front brakes had sprung a leak and I needed a local shop, google pointed me to D&D (which was surprisingly on top of my apartment according to the map...). I was lucky. I brought the car in and Steve (owner/mechanic) found the leak immediately. He had it fixed within a couple hours for under $80 bucks. I then took my truck to D&D several times for various issues thereafter, every time Steve fixed the problem quickly and well under my expected cost. Anyone in the South Boston / Dorchester area would do well to go to D&D Auto. It's good to have a mechanic you can trust.”
“I can't recommend this place enough! This is my second time here, and once again Fran was the best. I had a nail in my tire and the only time I could stop by was right before closing. Fran had me in and out in less than 15 minutes and only cost $20. This is the only place I will take me car.”
