I went to a sewing class at Zoya Designs and had such a great time! The class was small and intimate so there were lots of opportunities to ask questions and Zoya was incredibly knowledgable. She was even able to give me tips on how to work my grandmother's old machine that I was super lost on how to use, as it is unlike machines I have used in the past. I'd highly recommend taking a sewing class with Zoya if you are interested in starting to sew, you won't regret it!

Zoya's altered my wedding dress to be THE dress of my dreams! It was hemmed, taken in, bustled, and they did an excellent job modifying the bodice to give me a plunge neckline. The location ample had parking, the price was fair, and the associates were always pleasant during my fittings. Would highly recommend!

Zoya and her team did an incredible job tailoring my wedding dress! They gave great suggestions on how to achieve the look I was going for, were transparent about pricing, and timed my fittings perfectly. So excited to wear the prettiest dress I've ever worn in my life:)

I can’t recommend Zoya Designs. I brought my wedding dress here after reading the good reviews. My dress only needed a few small alterations, but it turned into a bit of a nightmare. When I returned for my first fitting, it was hemmed too short and I didn’t like the breast cups that were put in. But I mostly didn’t appreciate the way I was spoken to. They made me feel as if my concerns were not valid, and I was pressured into liking something that I wasn’t happy with. I know I’m not the expert, but I shouldn’t have had to advocate for my own opinion. Zoya did apologize to me in the end, but not until after a very stressful situation. It was also a pretty expensive bill in the end. I ended up taking the dress to another tailor who charged a fraction of the price and fixed it the same day.

I had an amazing experience getting my wedding dress altered with the team at Zoya. I had a couple rounds of alterations and all came out beautifully, even a last minute change less than 10 days before the wedding, they were so accommodating! The team’s suggestions, knowledge and guidance were super helpful in helping me feel comfortable with the process. The end result was beautiful. It fit me like a glove and looked even better than I expected. Thank you!

I made (reasonable--at least to other seamstresses) requests for my wedding dress, but I felt they were unprofessional and very rude in response. I had to take my dress elsewhere after alterations had already started due to poor customer service. I've rarely been treated so poorly by a company or write reviews, but weddings are stressful enough without being belittled/shamed/in tears over a difference in opinion. It seems the owner can get defensive in response to feedback that she doesn't want to hear, instead of being kind and trying to collaborate. It is possible she could have done a nice job on my dress, but I chose someone who did a wonderful job and also treated me and my preferences with respect/consideration!

I had my wedding dress altered here and they did an amazing job. I am completely out of my depth where tailoring is concerned but Zoya and team were kind and patient, even doing a quick touch-up on the bustle at my final fitting. I trusted their expertise and am so glad I did! Pricing was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend

Zoya saved my wedding dress!! I reached out to Zoya about one month before my wedding desperate to have my previous alterations done by someone else as they botched my dress. Zoya graciously squeezed me in and she worked her magic and fixed my dress! I'm so grateful for her and she did such an amazing job fixing someone else's bad work. She made me feel like a bride again! Zoya is amazing and I will definitely be using her again if I ever need alterations in the future.

WOW, I personally had to write a review on how well Zoya Designs took my wedding dress and made it into the most perfect dress I could have imagined. The dress I bought was very heavy and I was scared of wearing it, but they came up with so many ideas including a band inside of the dress that was genius. On the day my dress was perfect!!! It fit me like a glove and also never slid down. They did everything from tightening and shortening the sleeves, making the dress shorter, making it a slimmer fit, and even using the extra dress material to make my husband a custom pocket square. They were also so very friendly and made me feel so beautiful for every fitting! I can't recommend them enough. I have already had them do a couple other items for me as well!!! 10/10 best service and best alterations! I will be returning many more times!!

I would very much recommend working with Zoya and her team!Zoya tailored both my wedding dresses, I got a used (I also recommend looking for used dresses!) full length gown with lace, beads, several tulle layers, the works, all-in-all a pretty complicated dress. It had a small tear in the tulle, and a little staining on the hem, which was fine because I’m a little shorter than the previous person. Zoya recommended leaving the tear untouched, because repairing it would just make it more obvious. It was such a small tear and such a huge amount of tulle that even knowing it was there it took a solid few minutes to find it. I’m sure nobody noticed.Also, because this was a used dress, it was on the larger side for me, and Zoya told me it was just about on the edge of what they could actually fit down without compromising the structure of the dress. But they did it! And it looked wonderful and fit perfectly!Same with my second dress, a shorter one for the reception (i’m not the sort of person who could stand wearing a big dress for a whole day. Also it was 103 degrees). It wasn’t as complicated as the first, but it did have an overlaid portion that made it a bit more complicated. And it fit just as well as the first dress. I think the price was fair, not over or under what I would expect, especially for the first dress since it had so much detail and so many layers.I felt very comfortable at Zoya’s. They listened to my concerns, answered my questions, gave suggestions and did a fantastic job on the dress. They were very communicative, and always prompt. I have absolutely no complaints!
