Went in looking for musical instruments and struck out. Being donation based you have to hit it at the right time.

I almost always find something here. The shelves are always stocked and I feel like there’s a lot of item turnover. I will say there are often broken or dirty items on the shelves, so you have to be in the mood to sort through to find your treasures. Sometimes it smells weird in the store.

Love it! It is quaint, parking is even more quaint, but that's how it is supposed to be. Neighborhood love always.

Hi. This is a great place to find cabinets, dressers, desks, dishes, kitchenware, etc. I often go there. I like to go early because it can get crowded. I don't have the patience to try to find clothing there.

thee best Salvation Army in Boston! So many good finds and I didn't even want to post review because I wanted to keep this gem to myself. If you're in the area you should check them out. The employees are kind and you're likely to find a steal!

Very rude service, I m was buying a lot of items, and the cashier was very rude. The worse store ever. And over priced. You can get the same items brand new in Walmart for the same price. You know if someone wants to buy something that had a price tag, it's not the customer fault that things aren't organized. You should work with your customer to provide a better service. If this location had better customer service, they would have higher sales. And who would want to buy a set, that is missing parts and broken. At that point I would cut my loss and sell it individually the items of the set that isn't missing or broken! It doesn't deserve a single start for the service I received today! But the app doesn't allow me to post without any start(s)

I came here to donate two bags full of clothing, accessories, shoes, etc. As I pulled up to go into my trunk there were two women and a man who came up right behind me. The man was in my trunk trying to take things out of car. Told him to back up and not touch. I have a baby and a 9 year old in the car. He was trying to take my stroller and diapers. Sorry I need those not donating it nor did I ask for help. Then when I brought the two bags out they snatched it from me before I could put it in the bin and took it. There was 3 of them. Looks like people hang out there and wait for people to drop stuff off. But they are hands on and don't know personal space, will go into your car and touch stuff. I'm not coming back to donate anything in the future. Was very uncomfortable.

They have a big selection but as others have said...the prices are way too high for used goods. You're better off going to Savers or Goodwill.

This isn't a review of this actual location, but rather the Salvation Army donation pickup service. Over a month ago I scheduled a pickup of items for donation, and the earliest date I could get was mid December. I accepted the date despite the long wait, and luckily my neighbors were ok with my keeping the items for pickup on our porch in the meantime. This morning I get a call telling me they don't offer pickup for so few things (6 huge bags of clothes, assorted household items, etc) despite the fact that I indicated exactly how much there was when I booked the appointment online. The whole reason I needed a pickup is because I'm pregnant and can't move all the stuff myself. I'm extremely disappointed in the way this situation has been handled.

DO NOT ever think of donating here. They are liars. I hired a driver ($200) after they told me they accepted donations of NEW mattress but did tell me they have the right to refuse if damaged. They refused it because they are full. Would have been helpful if they told me that! Very inconsiderate. Karma will come back to Leslie. Get a new job

I find lots of clothing bargains here. I appreciate that they sort men and women's pants by size and color. The prices are often lower than marked, 50% off is not uncommon. I just purchased 2 name brand women's jackets plus a pair of very nice slacks for less than $10. This store seems to have a lot of negative reviews. I have been shopping there for about six months and have only had positive interactions with the staff. I suggest you give it a try.

They need to update their hours. Online it says 7, showed up and the door said they closed at 5.
