Because our washing machine was broken, I used this laundromat. My favorite point for this place was the existence of multiple washing and drying machine. Although this place isn’t allowed for card payment so I needed to prepare cash, it was fine because there is an exchange machine.

I've used this place in the past and had no issues, although half of their dryers are functioning. Today, I was going to use one of their dryers because my dryer just tanked and the employee actually confronted me and told me that I could NOT use their dryers unless I also used their washing machines! I told her that I was still supporting their business but she said something about "paying their high electric bill.". Then why not make your prices higher instead of turning your customers away?? This was very engraging and disappointing. Take your business elsewhere, Somervillains!

They must be deleting the bad reviews because there used to be way more accurate reviews on here! If you’re reading this then you are likely a tenant of the apartment complex attached to this laundromat & therefore held hostage by this abominable place. Barely any of the machines work, and now they’ve just raised the prices on half of the machines up $1 to $4.50 a load. I counted recently, only half of the dryer are functioning (7 or 8 out of 16) and almost half of the washers are also out of service. Sometimes one of the attendants (I always try to avoid when she’s there) will look over and start policing you about what goes into the washer if she is convinced it’s a comforter or “too big” even when it’s not and try to make you use the bigger more expensive washers. Also their hours?? 10-6 or 10-8pm and now they’re closed on Wednesday’s. So good luck doing your laundry after work or before work! If you work from home exclusively hopefully you can make it within these random stupid hours. This is a cheap laundromat with barely functioning facilities so unless you’re trapped here like us tenants of the apartments, definitely go elsewhere

Teele Square laundry are excellent in terms of service and wonderfully kind and considerate folks. Their attention to detail follows through to each item, washed, dried, folded neatly, and then stacked and wrapped with care in plastic to hold it all together. Their pick up and delivery are so convenient. I can call the morning of (Tuesday or Friday), and he will pick up my laundry bags. I am so grateful for the convenience, quality, and friendliness of these folks. They get my 5+++ stars.

These machines are over priced and they don’t work well. Also the hours are ridiculous and they close way too early. 6 o’clock on half the week and 8 o’clock on the others, I miss my old laundromat that closed at 10 PM. Get it together and close later and get better machines

Not a bad laundromat. Cash only but the coin machine always works. Between 3.5-5$ for a wash depending on a machine size, so a little pricey. But doable and better than some other options around.

Jesus, closing at 6pm? You run a business in a CITY. Stop having hours that dont accommodate your COMMUNITY. Get it together. Youre surrounded by students and people who work 9-5.... how are we supposed to use your overpriced machines if you wont stay open? I dont like giving you my business but it would be nice to have the option. Yall are lazy. Hire employees or stay open later. YOU RUN A BUSINESS IN A CITY, ACT LIKE IT

Not only does Teele Square have excellent service, but they are incredibly honest. My friend, an elderly gentleman, has been using their home service for years. From time to time he will forget and leave small sums of money in a pocket - Teele always returns it. Recently, however, he left a substantial amount of cash in his pocket. Returned it was! These people are just wonderful! Very honorable. Really commendable.

Well maintained machines, and typical cleanliness for a laundromat. The owner can get confrontational if you try to overload the machine or put too much soap in . I typically try to avoid her.

Clean. Machines all work, dryers are hot. Sometimes the double loaders take longer than the listed time, but they work fine.

Beware the coin shortage. If they think you've exchanged too many dollars for quarters to use in the laundry machines, you'll get a talking to.

Not sure who and why leaves great reviews. All machines are old and often all busy, working hours are ridiculous. There are much better options in the area.

This review is for the Teele Square Laundromat laundry pickup & delivery service.Pickup twice a week for current pickup/delivery customers.New hours for walk-in service, 12-6pm due to COVID emergency.Laundry by the pound! Nicely compressed, plastic bagged and folded.Dry-clean service by the item.Custom mending and buttons on request. They are professionals and if you are a regular customer, they will not hesitate to tell you what's what. Such as some admittedly 20-year old pants they declined to launder or mend. "These pants are 'moth eaten.' You understand, 'moth-eaten?'" lol.Neighborhood staple and a very welcome and beloved part of our diverse and vibrant Teele Square community.

Horrible laundry service. It takes at least 5 days and they always add on 'extras' to the price, so they quote a price on weight - but then add extras at pickup (like $5 for a duvet cover, $6 for towels (what?!)). Horrible. Do not recommend.
