I had a very unpleasant experience at the Off5th in Somerville, MA store recently. I came there to exchange my item for a larger size. When I approached the counter when it was my turn I greeted the associate. I then encountered an extremely rude associate by the name of GiGi who handled my item in a disrespectful manner by tossing them into my bag like a football. When I confronted her about her attitude and the handling of my item she asked me, “How should I have handled it. I didn’t bother responding.
I decided to go to a Manager to make a complaint or at the very least speak with the district manager or call Off5th complaint phone number. I approached another associate who was on the floor. She advised tme that the assistant manager on duty was Jeanette and was behind the counter. I approached Jeanette who was handling a customer. I patiently waited until she was done.
When it was my turn. I advised that I would like to get the complaint phone number and district manager number.
She advised me that she did not have the district manager. I thought that was strange that manager did not have her district managers phone number or the 800 number for complaints. So I questioned her on why she would not have that. She advised me that she does have it and she cannot give it out. I then asked her OK do you not have it, or can you not give it out? She became rude and said both. she did not even bother asking me what was the issue or how she could help me. I would think that if you are a manager on duty and a customer has a complaint, the first thing you would want to find out is what is the problem?
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your brand. I expect better customer service from a reputable company like yours. I would appreciate it if you could address this issue promptly and ensure that your staff treats customers with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

The jewelry department treated them very poorly and did not respect the customer. The return rules were not given well, and when you went to them to return a piece with the receipt, it was handled in a bad way and there was no understanding of the situation even though all the pieces, the receipt and the tag but one of the tag fell behind the box.

I was trying on a winter coat and in the pocket found a heroin needle and a bunch of rubber bands. I immediately took the jacket off and dropped the needle and called a cashier over. The cashier threw the needle away and gave me hand sanitizer. The entire situation was incredibly jarring and very unsafe. Please don’t shop here.

Good stock. Slightly disorganized, but spending some time looking around might give you a good deal.

The selection of menswear continues to disappoint, as well as the choices. Feels more like TJMaxx than Saks Off 5th.

Terrible selection of clothing and other items like cosmetics are overpriced. Most of the women’s clothing is tacky-looking, poor quality junk for the most part. Yes, there are some nice, expensive handbags, but if that’s what I were looking for I’d go to the actual Saks Fifth Avenue store or Neiman Marcus in Boston and get proper service and a nice shopping bag! There are never enough sales people here, terrible music is played on the sound system-it makes a person want to run out the door, not linger and browse! I have better luck at TJMaxx -HomeGoods in the older part of this shopping center than here. Skip this one.

Racist clerks. It's very unpleasant. I will not go to Saks never again, not just this store. You should know that there are clothing stores all around.I recommend NorstromRack in Boston. There are many things and they are very kind.

Unfortunately there is used to take back the shoes that came completely undone after one where even though they were bought online it's still the same company and they should have taken it back

I was uncomfortable trying to shop while being followed by armed security. The cashier was worried about who was stealing instead of talking to me at checkout. A person walking into the store was beeping, she wasn’t leaving. Calm down. The cashiers talk trash about customers in front of other customers. Terrible. Might as well close the store down.
